gatorheelsParticipantI’m not a Blazers fan but I am just curious to see what people think they should do now. I am lost on this one. I just know they need to make a move. What is the best option:
Glen Davis- very physical PF, $4 or $5 million will be his price probably
David Lee- will be expensive but provides rebounding, hustle, & high IQ
Ramon Sessions- a true PG, restricted free agent
Andre Miller- an experienced veteran PG, can’t shoot that well from the outside, a sign & trade would be a possibility
Raymond Felton- restricted free agent so there is a chance Charlotte would match
Lamar Odom- they finally get a legit experienced starting SF, this also weakens the Lakers, around $8-9 million

sheltwon3ParticipantTry for Sessions and maybe go after Odom but Odom would be stupid to take less money or the same and go play somewhere away from the Lakers.

Michael.S.Participanti think they should go Raymond Felton or perhaps Sessions , i like Batum at the 3 and Aldridge at the 4 to start cuz i dont D-Lee wants to leave NY toplay on the bench same with Davis

BasketballGuru24ParticipantSessions is who they should go after…..portland is doing to much work and getting no one…..they should actually go hard after sessions

BasketballGuru24ParticipantAndre miller wants to money and right now no one wants him….except the knicks who want everyone

MagikKnickParticipantThey’re probably going to go after a point guard next, they traded Sergio, and probably think Bayless needs to develop a bit more before he gets serious minutes..
Most likely Sessions, they pride themselves on a strong young core, and sessions is very young, unless they think adding a veteran is a better option in MillerLamar Odom is good option though, very versatile would help that team alot, with Roy, Odom, Aldridge & MAYBE Oden, seems like a legit squad to me, if Oden turns into half what he was suppose to be I see them as #2 in the west(they were the 3rd seed this past season)

Knicksboy34ParticipantI think they go Odom

j1232eParticipantportlands got lots of talented young guys, what they are missing is a vetran leader. I do not see sessions or felton being a major uprade over steve blake.

JNixonParticipantThey should go after Sessions or Felton. No question about it. Lamar Odom would be a good fit for Portland too, he would be a perfect mentor for Batum I think. But its up to whether they would be willing to give him a 3 or 4 year deal.

Lee and he has a better jumper than lee who get a lot of his point off hustle

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantWith the way Bayless is looking in summer league I say we bring that 3 team deal for boozer and hinrich back alive.

Meditated StatesParticipantI still think Hinrich would help their team a lot. If not go after Felton or Sessions.

sakuragi84Participantwasn’t the problem for the 3 way trade with boozer and hinrich was that chicago didn’t want to give up tyrus thomas? would be a lot of for chicago to give up.
I think ideally Portland should go for Miller but he’s looking for too much money. He did run the 76er’s well.

Meditated StatesParticipantMiller would be perfect, but no at what he is asking.

the_truth34Participantseissons and felton even though restricted there teams will not match offer bobcats got there future point in dj augustin and bucks have jennings but i think they will get seissions if not then the trade is most likely going to happen because they need a point

SlamParticipantPortland has young players it can develop like Batum and Bayless but it needs starts to step in right now. Felton is a great scoring point guard who would finally give Brandon Roy some one else who can create his own shot. Odom is very versatile and could give the Blazers a small forward who can score and defend.

ckowalskiParticipantI still can’t believe that Pritchard wasn’t busting down Odom’s door at 12:01 on July 1st. He has every tool that Portland needs and they still seem determined to just spend money on people they don’t need. If you are going to pay a bench player $9 million a year give it to Odom not Millsap. Maybe he just doesn’t want to sign him because he’s not that young anymore? That’s the only thing I can think of.
