Congratulations to Vince Carter on reaching 20,000 career points in the game against the Knicks. He’s the 37th guy in NBA history to achieve this feat and one of only 8 active players to hold this acolade.

I have hard feelings towards Vincanity……along with Kidd, Carter was one of the best Nets I’ve seen play the game.

does 20K make someone a HOF?

Basketball reference lists his HOF probability at 87% followed by Mcgrady at 70%

Nobody expected Vince to be as good as he became…In 2000 thru 2003 people were trying to make him the face of the league…He wasnt that type of player..

He’ll make the Hall but it’ll take a couple of tries….

Well, I’m happy for him… But overall, I am still disappointed on how his career had turned out… When he played with Toronto, I was ready to say he could be the Future of the League, his clutchness, versatility and highlights very night makes me think he’s the second coming of you-know-who Fellow Tar Heel alumni  but his injuries and lack of determination to be the best put him down to just a "mere" All-Star" status instead of reaching higher goals… I never expected him to be traded to the West but here he is playing for the Suns. I’m happy for Vince reaching the 20,000 point plateau… I’m disappointed he wasn’t the player I thought he’d be…
