Bucks will not re sign Charlie. So where do you think he will end up by the start of the season?

dmo21Participanti think the cavs would be perfect for him, they need a pf who can spread the floor but who is also athletic enough to guard guys like rashard, and he can take a lot of the scoring pressure off of lebron

CavsDawgParticipantCharlie Villanueva as the 4th/5th option on a starting 5? damn thats pretty impressive if Cleveland could get him for the MLE

SmooveKRYPTParticipantThey didn’t extend him a qualifying offer?!?
That’s it, he’s a Cav…perfect fit, versatile 4 man who can shoot the 3 ball!!!
If he’s willing to play for the mid-level he’ll definately be in Cleveland…and he’s already expressed interest in going there earlier this offseason!!!0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/29/2009 - 10:58am #173010
Knicksboy34ParticipantShock team…I think he goes to Orlando.

JNixonParticipantHe would fit in real good in Cleveland. Or Philly!

MattissickParticipantCrazy. He could be a good fit with the Heat too if they wanted to play small ball and have some versatility on offense with Villanueva and Beasley playing the big positions.

JNixonParticipantGood point, the Heat need an offensive player like Villanueva, too. But I can see him getting in Spoelstra’s doghouse for not rebounding and defending.

MattissickParticipantYeah I could see that too. Beasley is enough to him to worry about idk if he wants to deal with Charlie V

llperezI don’t blame the bucks for not resigning him. He is very good player on certain teams, but the Bucks need toughness and defense at the pf position, something Charlie V did’nt bring to the table. Their offense is already solid.. I expect they will make a run at another pf. Also, Mbah a Moute should see some more minutes.

MattissickParticipantLuc Mbah a Moute is seriously an outstanding defender. at 6’7″ and having played power forward at ucla for 3 years, he can guard the 4 spot, but has the speed to guard the 3 with ease and even a lot of 2s. He can be on one of the all-defensive teams soon enough. He learned from one of the best defensive coaches in Ben Howland. I’d like to see Charlie V leave the Bucks and play small ball with the heat. Another decent place might be the Celtics. Maybe KG and Rivers can make him play defense and he would be a good offensive player off the bench. It’s possible since they might be losing big baby Davis but then again Powe is suppose to be back next year. Should be interesting.

dwat4444ParticipantCleveland would be ace with this lineup
1. Williams
2. West
3. Lebron
4. Villanueva
5. Shaq
With Varejao, Iguaskas, and Gibson off the bench.0 - AuthorPosts
