llperezanyone else gonna watch, its about to tip off. Im gonna flip it back and forth between this game and the cal vs missippi NIT game and make some comments. Cal’s starting center markuri sanders frison got injured yesterday and is not playing but cal is off to a good start up 20-10 early.

llperezjorge guttierez of cal has really came on strong this year. Hes got 13 early on 5-5 shooting and he killed my bruins a few weeks back with 30+ points getting wherever he wanted. 30-24 cal right now.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIf Wisconsin-Penn State didn’t set back basketball a full fifty years, this game certainly will do the trick.

romeeezybabyParticipantNik is continuing to play really timid. He needs himself a tremendous NCAA Tournament showing whether it’s only one game or not, to have the NBA Scouts label him as a 1st round NBA Draft pick this year.
Fontan has looked spectacular in the open court, he’s really showcasing his ability to penetrate & split the defense.
Stepheson is playing his butt off, but has missed a handful of point blank layups.

llperezstephenson is working his tail off but if he could finish the trojans would a have 8-10 point lead.

llperezthis game looks like an argument for going back to 64 teams. VCU pulling away right now.

ghettosermonParticipantI am extremely upset watching this game. I don’t favor either team but the refs are trying to hand this game to USC. USC flops and they get the call, VCU does it and it’s on them. It’s pretty horrible officiating right now. I’d hate for a game to be decided by the refs. Either call it tight, or let them play. You can’t do both.

romeeezybabyParticipantPoint is irrelevant. USC can’t make free throws, has been their story all season. Total choke job by USC tonight. Outhustled, and outplayed by an inferior team.

ghettosermonParticipantWow that’s an embarassing effort by USC. They threw in the white towel with 2 minutes left down by 10. Who cares if that’s a tough defecit to come back from, you have to atleast try. I guarantee you if VCU was on the other end of that they’d at least be trying. This is the NCAA tourny you have to play your heart out, USC played like there is a game tomorrow. I feel sorry for Colorado and a team like Vatech who breezed through their first round NIT team. I guarantee you Malcolm Delaney and Jeff Allen wouldn’t have gone down easy like USC did. They really should be ashamed for that tourney performance. Nothing wrong with losing, but losing without effort is inexcusible. Jeremy Skeen btw looked great. A very smooth athlete and fairly skilled for a 6-9" 240 guy. He should have a nice career in the D-leauge or overseas, maybe even get an NBA call up at some point. Reminds me some of Udonis Haslem. Not saying he will make the league but they do have similarities.
