Just finished watching UCONN v Villanova. slow start, great finish!

Kemba Walker– proved he should be top consideration for POY as he kept his teamates involved and carried them to the victory over previously big east conference undefeated villanova. I keep hearing comparisons to Ty Lawson. I think he is better than Ty lawson, maybe thats because Lawson had better players surrounding him and didnt have to score every posession, but right now Kemba looks alot better. what NBA player currently could you compare him too? Barbosa when he came off the bench for the high octane offesive suns when nash won mvp? How about the potential of him turning out to rajon rondo clone? thoughts?

Jeremy Lamb– this is by far the biggest game in which he was confident and proved to be the running mate jim calhoun expected. How long are his arms? Every time nova got a shot up or there was no longer a angle to make a layup he was clutch and either layed it in or got the rebound. what does his potential end at? Richard Hamilton? Caron Butler? If he sticks around a couple years he will be impressive. By far there top player in this recruiting class.

Alex Oriahki– Has he finally found consitancy with being the 10-10 guy expected? Who knows what he can be or turn out to be but even in crunch time he was given the ball and either got fouled or made the lay-up.

Roscoe Smith– Shut down corey stokes. play’ed with fire and energy even though he wasnt apart of the offense. I am just glad with 11 seconds to go he didnt throw up a bomb from full court. He should stick around and be somthing special.

    Villanova

Corey Fisher– I could see why he could drop 100 even if it was a pick-up game. He attempted to do his impression of Kemba tonite and even knocked down a three at the end of the game to bring it to a one possesion game.

Antonio Pena– the mid range game is not dead. For a big man he knocked down clutch shots for nova throughout the game and over bigger defenders. Dante cunningham clone?

Maurice Sutton– Looks like Ryan Hollins. Was everywhere during the game. Came off the bench and provided Nova with solid minutes. Nova isnt know for the big guys but between him and pena outshined everyone not named corey fisher. He is only a sophmore. pro potential?

Kemba Walker has hit so many big shots against top teams this season. Fredette hasn’t played anywhere near the competition that Kemba has.

No, disrespect but rondo clone come on……

iam a big fan of kemba but RONDO clone is a strecth

I cant complain cuz he reminds me of AI a little not his handles

but his dameaner on the court and how he puts the ball in the basket…

not sayin he’s goin be like him in the nba but he jus reminds me of him,

but i kinda like the ty law one realisticly, also nbadraft.net thinks tim hardaway

    is a good comparison

Fisher got the better of Kemba tonight. Kemba did hit the game winner though and that’s all that matters.

I’m impressed you think Mo Sutton has NBA potential. That’s news to all of us from the Nova faithful….we’ll take it though.

Rondo may have been a stretch. But I dont remember Rondo carrying Kentucky like Walker does Uconn. If Rondo didnt go to the celtics would he be the same player he is now? Rondo is amazing hands down. If walker is given the same chances Rondo had could it turn out the same way? I would think so. Walker has a better Jumper, havent truly seen Walkers passing ability since he really hasnt had anyone to pass too. But his jumper and clutch time performances speak for themselves. time will tell

Mo Sutton— first time watching him play. Ryan hollins made the league so could he, there is time to improve.

If fisher and walker where such good friends from NY why didnt they got to the same school. imagine that?!

I like the Tim Hardaway comparison better than the Ty Lawson.

Jimmer is a scorer, should be interesting to see if it translates in the NBA. the next Goran Drogic? haha. idk.
