lalailaParticipantD Rose and J Wall has all hypes but between them is the guy i would take any day – Tykere Evans..locked ROY this season..for me he is top3 player in the NBA with Durant and James offcourse, that’s how high i am on him!!!
i’m living in the Lithuania i have seen just 3 or 4 his games and everytime Tyreke was terrific..!

LawDeeZeeParticipantTyreke Evans is good, but top 3 in the NBA?!?!?! I see you said better than Rose which I don’t totally agree with at this point, but you mean to say that he’s also better than guys like DWAYNE WADE AND KOBE BRYANT?!?!?!?! (and that’s just to name the two obvious one’s)

rtbtParticipantOnce again, I have to point out that as much as I respect Sam Presti as a GM, he made a huge mistake when he selected Harden over Tyreke Evans. Harden will probably be a good NBA player while Tyreke Evans will be a super star. Presti then compounded that error by selecting an ill prepared BJ Mullens with his next first round choice.
Yes I know guys will say Harden fits in better with the current roster, but NBA teams change very quickly and OKC will probably have a very different roster in two years.

RUDEBOYI love watching Tyreke..But a top 3 player? NO..At least not yet…He reminds me of former Knick Guard Micheal Ray Richardson..And why get rid of Martin so soon?Keep him until the draft..maybe then they could use him to move up..or send him to Utah or New Jersey if they get the 1st pick..but i doubt if any team that draft Wall number 1 will trade him

DanEboyParticipantI think Tyreke surprised everyone coming out of the gate the way he has, including himself, he said he thought he would avg 11pts his rookie year and get better over time. But don’t get carried away with top 3 in the NBA right now. I think they will have to trade Martin at some point because it seems like there is awkwardness since he has come back from injury.

mmmistryParticipantI havn’t seen a ton of Sac games so can anyone tell me how good he is at defending the point guard position. I know Evans is fast but can he keep in front of PGs in this league?

Toronto16ParticipantTyreke is good, really good. But lalaila, no way you take him over Rose and Wall.

BasketBalAllanParticipantEvans has very few problems with his defense of almost any position on the floor, he is admitably the Kings best constant defender, Garcia, Donte, and Brockman have their moments. Evans has very quick hands, I do not think there are more than three others in the NBA who are better at picking a players pocket while they are facing up to the basket, which is where Evans gets almost all of his steals.
That being said he is not one of the top 10 guards in the NBA this season, but he is extremely close, and in my opinion has played better than Rose so far. An interesting fact, there are only 10 guards in the NBA this season who have efficiency ratings higher than Evans, and all of them except Monta Ellis are All-Stars this year. (P.S. Rose is not one of them, though that is not what I am basing my opinion off of).

M-DYMESParticipantIf your placing James and Durant at 1 and 2 in the league (which I don’t think Durant is #2, at least at this point or with Kobe still in the league) that mean your saying Evans is better than…
Kobe
Wade
Bosh
Howard
Johnson
Paul
Williams
Nowitski
Duncan
etc.Evans is very good and will be a star in the future but to say he’s better than the likes of All-NBA players is a slap in the face to those players.

lalailaParticipant%$&#@ my english LOL
No way.. he isn’t top 3…he is top6-7 SG(i think he is sg) now…i tried to say HE WILL BE lol…let’s by the year of 2015 (in his prime) he can score 30 one day he can rebound 6-7 he can pass 6-7 he could be perfect defender..superstar for me.
so one person mentioned Kobe and D-Wade, now i think you agree that after 5yrs he really could be better, isn’t you??
and for other who mentioned Wall and Rose, Yes believe me or not i would take Tyreke!0 - Posted on: Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:47pm #253496
Russell0WestbrookParticipantGreat talent but we have to see if he is a winner thats the diff from good and great but the kings have a very bright future with he and casspi

the I in winParticipanttyreke top three with durant and lebron? What happened to kobe? i think wade is better than durant to.
Tyreke’s play has slipped off the last few games, hitting that wall but he should be fine on the other side of the allstar break.
