The Jazz have their eyes on the playoffs next season. With that in mind, why don’t they make a run at trading for Tobias Harris, perhaps building a package around pick #12? They would seem to have the necessary assortment of picks and players to finagle a sign-and-trade, and I imagine Harris may indeed consider one if he’s approached the right way. The Jazz could offer him a great situation, including a more featured role on offense as well as better support on both ends of the floor. In turn, he could round out their starting rotation nicely – presumably Exum, Hayward, Harris, Favors, Gobert – allowing Burks to come off the bench as a sixth man. They would not only have excellent size, but also enhanced positional flexibility to shift into small ball lineups, with Exum able to switch between PG & SG, Hayward able to switch between SG & SF, Harris between SF & PF, and Favors between PF & C.

I’m a Celtics fan. I hope to see Harris in green next fall. But I think he would be a great fit on the Jazz.
