JM40ParticipantI was reading over the prospect profiles today, and didn’t realize how many draft prospects this year were from Canada. Just think if they were all on one team, I think they would have contended for the National Championship. I think everyone in my “mock” starting line-up was in consideration for player of the year in their respective conference.
Starting Lineup-
PG-Tyler Ennis
SG-Nik Stauskas
SF-Andrew Wiggins
SF/PF-Melvin Ejim
C-Khem BirchBench-
PG-Kevin Pangos
PG/SG-Olivier Hanlon
SG-Brady Heslip
PF-Dwight Powell
C-Jordan BachynskiThis list doesn’t even include recent draft early entries like Anthony Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Myck Kabongo, and Kelly Olynyk. Not bad, eh?

R-Dot-13ParticipantContend? That team would have dominated and ran through the tournament all the way to a title.

Scrooge McDuckParticipantYou could add Jason Calliste (13ppg, 53% FG, 50% 3pt, 87%FT) as your 12th man.

WITNESS2014ParticipantThis reminds me that if the Cavs get Wiggins they would have taken 3 players from Canada in the last 4 years. Thompson in 2011, Bennett 2013, Wigggins 2014

joecheck88ParticipantDwight Powell would start but I get your point. There has been a spike in Canadian talent since about 2010 as far as draft prospects. It’s why most consider Canada will be an elite national team by 2020 but could be scary by 2016 in the Olympics.

ditotayParticipantconvinced all of them to play for the national team. Not an easy task by the way. I remember reading an article that said that Wiggins would like to play for the national team. I agree that could be a team to beat in the Olympics.
