That said, Marcus Smart was being refered to as a #1 pick during the Anthony Bennett sweepstakes, before returning for his sophmore year.  That’s almost unheard of these days.  Most people say, "if only he stayed another year to develop his game".

Smart has come out as a rookie, shown some solid defense, and improved 3pt shot.  Surely there is at least a 1 in 1000000 possibility that Smart could end up as the GOAT.  He could potentially drive to the hole fearlessly, hit the 3 at a high clip, play lock down D.  I’d almost be inclined to say D Wade with better 3pt shot and better D.   AND Wade is considered maybe a top 5 SG in history (We all got Jordan, Kobe, West in the top 3).

Anyways, back to the main point, if you want to challenge each other on basketball knowledge, both dl the QuizUp app.  There’s a few NBA topics.  Surely you can find each other via your names and go head to head to see who has more knowledge.

He does have some out there ideas and often puts them forward in an extremely abrasive manner, but banning him won’t do anyone any good. Personally, I find someone like Rip255 more annoying, because almost overnight he went from posting intelligent, well thought out responses to deliberately trolling. I still wouldn’t ban him either. 

Who knows, maybe T Rex will be proven to be right in time. Could he word his responses better, to not try and alienate everyone on here? Absolutely. In college Smart was almost exactly as good as Harden at drawing fouls and scoring around the rim, not to mention they have almost the exact same body/athleticism, and yet people think it’s absurd that Smart could turn into a better passing, slightly lower scoring version of Harden?

You guys want to ban me for pointing out the obvious, that Smart is already on his way to being a hall of famer?

It’s not like Smart doesn’t play for a Phil Jackson level coach either. 

Smart already tied for 2nd in the league in offensive fouls drawn. Did Jordan ever do that? Kobe refuses to, as does Kawhi Leonard, "DPOY", so they tell me.

Smart could average 22-23 ppg for his career, but do it on higher effeciencey than Michael Iverson Jordan, because of Smart’s 3 point shot. Combine that with a decade + of DPOY candidate defense, and the number of titles could be the determining factor. And we have the Nets next 3 first round draft picks, unprotected.

I don’t reply/read posts by T-Rex anymore because the tone of his posts is always so aggressive/hostile/annoying.  Then there are the repetitive ant-semitic posts.  Every forum has a dbag like this who just has an incredibly abrasive/offensive tone and can take the fun out of the site.
