prophetmeirParticipantCan anyone give me an update on his current game? Been checking stats looks like a great wing rebounder and efficent scorer % wise. I was comparing his stats to kawi Leonard similar stats despite rebounds ( also kawi played in smaller con) so its basicaly evens out. Strenghts / weakness for Johnson?

rileymcshea3ParticipantThe real question is, is he a 2 or 3?

holefillersParticipantI think he is a natural three. He can’t score like Joe Johnson but he can defend wings and play a gaurd/play a small four.

tuck243ParticipantI’m with Riley… If Jimmy Butler is currently considered a 2 then Stanley can be a 2… He’s fluent with his movements like a 2 guard that stands out to me the most… Compared to other SF’s who could be a little stiff, he’s silky with his ball handle and such… I think the sky is the limit for him and he has a floor that’s very high too…

MopgrassParticipantI agree about the sky. I never bet against guys who fight real hard. He can only get stronger.
I think he can drive great and has solid handles. I’m only concerned about his shot form. He’s shooting decently from outside. Considering his form, it feels like a bit of a fluke. Even if it’s not, I doubt that form holds up from pro distance. Fixing his shot is difference between him being a solid future and being a future all-star.

sitlbitoParticipantThat’s the kind of guy you take to me if he’s there after the top prospects(Okafor,Towns,Russel,Mudiay). Worst case scenario he’s a defensive specialist/glue guy(MKG/Sefolosha),best case he improves like Leonard/George/Butler. And,these guys really help you win.
