UNCbasketballbumParticipantIs Erik Spoelstra partly to blame for the last 2 Heat losses. Execution down the stretch has been non-existent. Lebron was quoted as they never know what player cobinations will be playing because it is always changing. Is Spoelstra feeling the heat? (No pun intended) What do you guys think?

scott3210ParticipantAs a Heat fan, I can’t honestly say I am a big fan of him. Especially offensively, where other teams do a great job at moving the ball and running sets, the Heat instead just have Lebron or Wade sit with the ball the whole possession; which really disrupts the flow of things. He seems to lack creativity at that end.

Jlv2012It’s Lebron’s fault. The Lebron is the reason if they win it all and he is the reason if they don’t.

ChrisCrossParticipantuhm Kevin Martin? that guy is a 20ppg scorer, they can’t just bring him over for a bag of chips, plus no cap to sign him.

NYK2010ParticipantHe definitely deserves some blame for not running plays the isolation stuff is a joke.
Riley is at fault too for not signing someone else who can get their own shot or some size.
A Center who can block a shot and rebound would help the scrubs Pittman, Howard and Curry don’t
Not sure why Spoelstra doesn’t play Turiaf he can give you some energy and good mins even if its limited.
Battier was the big splash in free agency but he’s just a defender doesn’t rebound he needs to sign someone who can get their own shot. 1 assist and 0 rebounds in 42 minutes isn’t going to get it done.
Guys like Battier and Joel Anthony have lost a lot fast.
I know they are capped out but get creative make a move can’t just have the same team or the problems won’t go away.
How much would a guy like Reggie Evans or even Kevin Martin helps this team off the bench.
Not sure if Miami looked at Boris Diaw when he was cut but he’s a big body and can pass, rebound, shoot and has playoff experience.

Meditated StatesParticipantThey have a lot of mismatches in their favor too. I don’t think its a huge upset if the C’s win series. Celtics are underrated. If Rondo is healthy that’s a different series last year. I don’t think its the coach at all. Riley gave him drivers who shoot inconsistent. They have scrubs as roll players to me and are way undersized. Bosh coming back will help there offensive flow though.
