    I don’t think Samuel Dalembert is starting for the 76ers this upcoming season and at 12 mil coming off the bench cost too much what kinds pick is worth

    IMO it would hurt me to give up a 2nd round pick for a center that’s coming off a 8.5 rebound year that makes $12 million and has no offensive game

    Brand is the guy that want/need to move. I’m not saying Dalemberts better by any means, but in that system Brand is just for lack of a better word “slow.” The 76ers play an uptempo game and are a much better team with brand off the court rather than on it. It was a great idea going after him, but one that backfired. With lebron looking for some interior help I can honestly see a Elton Brand Trade to Cleveland

    the sixers had gone for the younger, more athletic and better fit for their system in josh smith instead of brand. brand still has value, teams such as cleveland or miami could be suitors off the top of my head. i would honestly almost trade dalembert for anything at this point, very frustrating to watch him continuously not dominate the boards with his size and have minimal offensive skill/touch

    Memphis tried, but the Hawks would have matched a max deal on Josh Smith. I just see Cleveland really pushing hard for him this offseason. James needs a big man badly and a trade.

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=orly3g

    Cleveland Gets;
    Elton Brand
    Willie Green

    Philadelphia Gets:
    Ben Wallace
    JJ Hickson
    Daniel Gibson

    Cleveland Get’s the Bigman combination to run with James and dumps Ben Wallaces Contract.
    Philadelphia gets a more athletic uptempo big man to run with their team, and a back up point guard in Daniel Gibson.

    I don’t think it’s that far fetched of an idea.

    That is a great trade. I could see that happening this offseason.

    Auber, I like the trade but Cleveland would prob have to offer the 30th overall because giving up EB is lgiving up 19-9 and Hickson, Wallace and Dalembert cant replace that.

    Also, does this trade make them better than Orlando? I dont think so IMO.

    i like the trade for both teams. brand would give cleveland a legit #2 option. on phillys side they get another young pf in hickson along with speights and smith plus gibson could give them shooting and i think wallace comes off the books for 2010. it wouldn’t make philly better right away because even if miller comes back he is aging. they would need a young pg that could become a solid starter and really good shooters. clevelands only problem would be orlando because they still wouldn’t be able to guard lewis or turkoglu. but brand could get some back on O. Philly needs to develop their young talent a little better.
