IndianaBasketballParticipantWatched Utah vs OKC tonight… OKC played lights out.
I’m not saying Russ is better than D-Will, but he sure ate his ass up tonight. I know D-Will has an injured wrist, but that has nothing to do with him moving his feet on defense. Russ was blowing by him and easily.
Russ still has a lot to prove in this league and he isn’t a finished product, but the talent/ability gap between he and Williams isn’t that big at all. And now that Russ is starting to put his game together, there isn’t as big of a gap in production either.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantNot defending DWill, but there aren’t many players that can stay in front of Russell Westbrook.
Russell Westbrook is starting to close the gap between himself and top tier point guards. And he’s closing it fast.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat’s true, but Russ was also pulling up right in D-Will’s grill… Then he blew the guns and put em in the holster lol. He was cocky tonight, but backed it up.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea lol… He did it a few times. He was cocky as hell tonight, but damn near made every single play.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAll he needs now is a consistant 3 ball.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt seemed like the Thunder hit every shot… Even Thabo hit a jumpshot and when he’s hitting, you know it’s going to be a long night.

CodySLCParticipantHe out played Deron and the Thunder as a team took it to the Jazz. It looked like they were trying to make a statement in this game. Their not gonna back down from a division rival. I think part of the reason he was getting to the rim so easy is partly because he was hitting his shots. 4 of 4 from deep and 10 of 15 overall. And when you have to play Westbrook tight like that he’s getting to the cup no matter whos on him.

j1232eParticipanthas impressed me this season with his scoring, we all new he was a speedster but his shooting ability has improved drastically. I still don’t like the fact that OKC starting PF. Jeff Green had 0 rebounds for the game he was 8-9 from the feild but Millsap desroyed this kid with 34 points. I don’t see OKC doing much with Jeff Green as their staring power forward.

MJ FOR LIFE 23ParticipantThe gap between Westbrook and D-Will is not at all big now. Westbrook has somehow found a way to just knife through the defense which practically makes him almost impossible to defend when he is driving. His jumpshot is becoming better and his all-around game is coming together now.

omphalosParticipantYeah Green needs to go, I was thinking that Tyson Chandler would be the perfect fit for this team; shot-blocking centre playing some of his best basketball, free agent at the end of the year, would allow Ibaka to slide to the 4 where he belongs and give them arguably the best shot-blocking frontline in the NBA. Green could be traded for a back-up PF like Anthony Randolph and a role-playing SF to give Durant a breather. Otherwise, the Thunder are pretty much watertight with this trade;
PG – Westbrook/Maynor
SG – Harden/Thabo
SF- Durant/sign Da’Sean Butler
PF – Ibaka/Collison/Randolph
C – Chandler/Aldrich – Ibaka can play here too.

BigDParticipantTyson Chandler will stay in Dallas i would think, they’ve already stated they’re going to pay him and they’ve got his career back on track.

omphalosParticipantMost likely he will, but doesn’t change the fact he’s a perfect fit there. Otherwise I think acquiring Whiteside from the Kings is a good idea eventually.

jerb2011ParticipantLike I’ve been saying Russell isn’t a bad 3 pt shooter because he can’t shoot the shot consistently, he just only normally takes 1 a game and if he misses that 1, the counts against he percentage. Derrick Rose and Russell were working out over the summer just shooting 3s and lay-ups and D-Rose (who’s 3 has gotten a lot better this year) said Russell was helping him work on his shot and he said Russell is the better shooter between the 2 of them. Derrick Rose only makes more 3s because he takes more 3s
