knicksfreakParticipantWith the warnings coming from Rubio’s camp that he wont come to the NBA for certain teams and his clear indication that he would love to come to NY do you think he will fall at all or the knicks will move up to get him?

ucantcheckmejdj3Participantthere is no way in hell that rubio falls to #8

gatorheelsParticipantI actually think he will fall to #4. The Kings won’t pass on him. I think the Knicks just want Curry and that is all they are really worried about.

knicksfreakParticipantI’m not saying he will fall to 8. Just wondering if he could scare a few teams and fall a few spots.

QHaynes123I dont think so…Walsh is probably killing Dantoini now because they passed on Randolph and Lopez because Dantoni wanted Gallanari.

knicksfreakParticipantYeah Walsh has a man-crush on Randolph now. I thought they were going to trade Nate for him before the deadline.

Michael.S.Participantgallinari was injured much of the season and had his moments so nobodyknows if that was really a bad move. but ill have to admit lopez has impressed me,and randolph also had his moments

knicksfreakParticipantGallinari showed he can be an assassin. Especially in crunchtime but I like Randolph alot. He could be a poor mans KG.

superjackParticipantdantoni went for someone that fitted in the run and shot system
imagine lopez trying to haul his 7 foot behind up and down the court like that for 35 mins!
get curry or maybe trade up to Sacramento for:
4th pick and a expirering contract for 8th pick and either Larry Hughes or sign and trade Lee

knicksfreakParticipantLee wont get traded for any pick in this crap draft.

iguapops420ParticipantI’ve thought about NY going after rubio for quite some time. While Gallinari was a good fit for D’Antoni, the injuries caused that to be a poor pick up to this point. Whether he can get healty and come back next year and prove his worth is a deffernt story. Though one has to wonder if Gordon,Bayless, and especially Randolph wouldn’t have been suited just as nicely if not better. Especially randolph as he compares a lot toOdom, Diaw, and KG. If memory serves me correctly D’Antoni has had a boner for LO for some time nowoffering marion multiple times for Odom before he was eventually sent packing for Snaq. Hell any run and gun offense is made for a big vrsatil hustle gy like Randolph. From multiple people the Suns after getting back to run and gun this year after porter was fired and went back to mike’s offense offered up amare for odom. The Lakers simply didn’t know how Amare would react to coming off the becnh or not being the star.

PringlesParticipantGallinari was Walsh’s pick guys…try to read up before you make stupid comments.
D’Antoni was very skeptical of Gallinari all throughout the off-season and even said during the draft: “I’ll be mad at his father if his kid can’t play.”
GM’s make draft picks, not head coaches.
BTW, Lee can’t be traded until AFTER the draft.

ucantcheckmejdj3ParticipantRubio’s floor is #4, i still think Memphis makes a trade to move down and let whoever is in love with Ricky move up.

millienstar32ParticipantRubio is just an asshole. like everyone around the world kill there selves to play in the nba and this man has the oppurtunity to play and he makes stupid comments about he wants to play for l.a or n.y like thats not what u want in a future star. i lost all my respect for him i hope he never gets drafted. STUPID ASSHOLE :@:@:@

RickyRubio9Participanteven like that. Rubio wants to play in a bigger market due to his buyout. If he goes to a small market, chances are he won’t make enough money to cover his buyout and some so he’d basically be playing in the NBA for free. It isn’t just because he says so. Besides how do we even know if this is what he wants. He is a kid still and his agent is calling the shots and who knows if his family has any influence on where to go. Give the kid a break. Maybe Gasol and Navarro told him Memphis is a bad place? haha. Just trying to defend my boy Rubio.
