While I was wrong in calling Paul George rookie of the year that year he as clearly made the huge strides I expected. It’s obvious I was a fan boy of him back then without really knowing his game too well, as evidenced by me thinking he couldn’t create for himself. I just fell in love with his college stats and potential.
It’s obviously too soon to start calling out ROY but my vote would have to go to Dipo. You have to think Afflalo is going to get moved opening up the starting spot for Dipo. His college stats and potential also lead me to believe he will be a great pro. I’m not going to throw any wild comparisons out there but you can expect Dipo to carve a name for himself.
If anyone thinks it isn’t too soon for ROY proclamations join me in calling out your pick.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantWell if I had to make a pick right now, I’d probably go with Trey Burke. He’s NBA ready and is on a pretty good but not great team so he’ll get some big minutes. Plus he has talent around him which is always a point guard’s dream.

David Stern a.k.a. da muthaf@cking leader of da kryptsParticipantI think Zeller has a shot at it too. He’s instantly going to be the Cats’ best big man and a starter. He runs the floor well and will be a good fit with the young and quick roster they have.

esperanzafleet69Participanti agree i think zeller is going into the best situation to get big minutes, and its all going to depend on if he can stay out of foul trouble. the bobcats have a decent young big man rotation with zeller, mullens, and boyimbo. i was pleasantly suprised with mullens last season.

halfdecayedParticipantI picked Lillard last year and he won by far.. Im expecting a closer race this year for sure, but im going CJ Mccolum, he’s going to score with the best of them and is gonna cause matchups problem in the backcourt paired with Lillard.. These guys can really shoot it.. Cant wait to see them play..
Also, Trey Burke has a legit chance i wouldnt be surprised if he gets it, because he’s going to have alot of PT and has a solid big man rotation which will make him flourish..

TyroberParticipantOladipo and Burke seem to be the early favorites for me. Both are going to get all the playing time they can handle and should produce at a high level.
