I think one of them should be cut. This Lithuania team is similar to what the usa is gonna see throughout the tourney. Clearly Gordon, Curry, and Westbrook are better suited for this comp. Rose/ Rondo only score 2 points a piece, rondo i believe had 4 turnovers.

exactly, my point was that cutting any of the guards would be difficult. rondo could play the role j kidd did a few years ago, curry is a great shooter and good passer, westbrook has been a beast defensively, rose is the best of all of them getting his offense, gordon has been a great shooter/finisher/defender, and billups is a veteran that can come up big and make big plays. cutting any of them would be tough. ill say kevin love should get cut. chandler and odom is very good as a center combo(for fiba) and durant, granger, and gay can play power forward and small forward.

Out of Durant, Granger and Gay, Gay was the only player who looked like he could be effective (strength wise) playing the four yesterday.

Durant isn’t strong enough and is bothered by the physical play. I think Granger can be effective playing the four, but he just didn’t play well yesterday.

And then most recently the 2008 olympic team, Lebron, Dwade, Dwill, Boozer, Bosh, Amare. They all had a bunch of allstars and just dominated, clearly deserved the title. This year should be no different. We need all the allstars we can get, especially since we are extremely short on big men or true centers for that matter.
