What would he have to do to fall out of the top 5? I think Zion has ended the #1 debate, but when do we start having the who else is worth a top 5 pick and why debate? The draft isn’t very great at the top this year but I’ve at least started to wonder if his preseason hype isn’t keeping him at #2 while Bol and a few others have been more impressive.

The more I look into this draft class, the weaker it appears.

Zion is my definite number 1 but aside from him, there isn’t anyone else I see with super star potential.

Cam and R.J. are two guy I can see being all-stars but I am severley disappointed in what Cam Reddish has done recently and hope he turns it round some time soon and I’ve already talked about my issues with R.J. in past threads.

Some underrated guys that I can see becoming steals are…

Iggy Bradeikis, Jarrett Culver and Jaxson Hayes

I’ve already talked about my praise for Ja Morant. But Tre Jones right now is an interesting prospect. The guy can run an offense efficiently, push pace, always plays within himself, makes good decisions and is a very good on-ball defender. Not sure if he’s quiet NBA ready as far as his body goes, but I think he will be a very good pro. I think he can have a career like Mike Conley. Definitely more translatable skills and intangibles than Tyus, despite Tyus likely having a far more impressive Duke career unless Tre stays a few years.

I’m excited for the draft. IMO this class is very deep and talented.

I think the draft has a ton of good prospects but few good players. Lots of talent but not much NBA ready. Not many teams are keen on development anymore, not even the tanking teams.

While i think his shot selection has been suspect, and he has taken a lot of ill advised shots, hes still shwoing everyone why he can be a potential all star. I think the top three will eventually be a lock rounding out to be zion, rj, and bol bol due to their ceilings. I personally don’t think he’ll slip past three.

I agree with this but would also throw in Ja Morant as a wildcard. He has every skill you want from a gaurd with all the athletisism. He’s turnover prone and will probably always be but his turnovers come on taking risks and initiating plays not on bonehead moves or sloppy plays.

I’m not that too high on him, I think all he can do is score on high volume, he should let scouts see that he can playmake regularly, he can pass too, sometimes he forces shot, and I think that will eventually let the scouts nitpick about his bad shots

I think it’s a 8 Person class. RJ, Cam, Zion, KPJ, Morant, Culver, Hayes and maybe Bol are the only guys I see becoming above average to all star players. Everyone else is pretty much a role player and won’t have a major role anywhere

He might be the best open floor player entering the league since LeBron, he has superstar mentality and drive to get better, I see second coming of latrell sprewall…
