So far, this season, the Memphis Grizzlies have been playing beyond expectations early on within the current standings, but the one thing, I couldn’t help but notice was Tyreke Evans’ play throughout the month of November. If anyone were to tell me that he would bounce back with this organization as a top-tier scorer on a nightly basis, I would call them crazy. Over the last past 5 games played, he’s averaging 24.2 ppg, with his game-high being 32 points off the bench. As a fan of Evans’ style of play, I am pleased to see that he is turning things around to become a standout player again.

He’s played very well for us this year. It’s helped given our injuries and that our main point guards (Conley and a Chalmers) look a bit slower and their shots are off…

He is pretty much our third option right now even though he comes off the bench.

Of course! He may be the front-runner.

Tyreke Evans might be the only player in NBA history who’s finest year was his rookie year.  Anyone else come to mind.

Pretty much every Nets Rookie prior to Hollis-Jefferson peaked in year 1. All the way back to Derrick Coleman.

MCW, Jilhal Okafor, Johnny Flynn spring to mind.

Good call by Memphis Boy with Damon Stoudemire.
