reid travis reportedly deciding between UK and villanova

so was looking at the thread of all americans for next season and I was gonna give a shout out to Reid Travis from stanford who I think will be the best player in the conference. Except when i did a search for his name, first thing to pop up from earlier today is that Travis is transferring and is currently deciding between Kentucky and Villanova. Major bummer for the Cardinal and west coast hoops fans.

And since Reid Travis is a gradute transfer, he will be eligible to play immediately.

Last year he averaged 19.5ppg and 8.7rpg. Im surpised he isnt in the 2019 mock, i think guy is a solid second roudn prospect. he had entered his name for this years draft and got workouts with numerous teams before he decided to withdraw his name. And from recent video of him working out, he is putting lots of work on his jumper and ball handling. Hes 6-8 250 and built like a NFL TE. Solid athlete and chiseled frame and loves to bang down low.

Ill be pulling for him wherever he goes and hope hell get some more national attention playing at one of the big schools next year.

Rich get richer

I loved how he plays the game ever since I watched him play with Ty Jones for that Minnesota AAU team. I don't see much in the way of an NBA prospect (He's more Harangody than Draymond), but as a college player he is top notch.

UK- the only thing that holds Cal and UK back recently is experience. Everytime he has upperclassmen to lead during the tough times, UK were title contenders.

Nova- I figured they would be fine with Paschal and the addition of Swinder. If they get Reid (plus Cremo) Nova all of a sudden has way more depth than we were expecting for next year.

UK too crowded

Seems more of a Nova-type player than a UK player, and Jay Wright can sell him on being the #1 option right away
