There are 2 real-life NBA2K things going on in the NBA that are attention worthy:

    1) Steph Curry. Dude’s playing on easy mode, enough said. He’s on pace to beat his own 3PM record…by around the All-Star break. Just saw an advanced stat that he shoots BETTER when catching and shooting while guarded (50ish%) vs. wide open catch and shoots (41ish%). The degree of difficulty on his shot selection is absurd, and he makes it look like a big kid playing with a Fisher-Tykes hoop. It’s not even fair with this guy right now; he’s on pace for like a 35-36 PER. I haven’t seen a season this dominant since Jordan with the Bulls in the 90s.

    2) On the other end of the spectrum, Sam Hinkie is playing Association mode with his 76’ers, and must have forgotten that Team Chemistry/Roles is a thing that actually exists. What a mess. Jah is so frustrated with the losing that he’s getting into scuffles with hecklers, their guard play is like NCAA level, and they just can’t put away any games. I have a feeling it’ll take longer for them to win than it will for GSW to lose. At some point you have to cash in on some of these assets and bring in some veteran help/star power…right? They’ve lost, what, 27 games in a row going back to last season?

Can Curry keep this up? Will the 76ers come to their senses and start trying to get a few vets on their team?
