Be honest and specific, looking for feedback on the first round and the beginning of the 2nd round. After about pick 40 I was just throwing it out there.

Sewok15ParticipantHarkless is too low. I don’t like Zeller going to Portland at 11. Terrance Jones to Minnesota makes no sense since they just drafted a 3/4 hybrid #2 overall last year with Williams and still have Beasley and Randolp on their roster.

220ParticipantBeasley is a free agent who they likely won’t resign…I was just trying to use David Kahn logic which is that he’ll take whoever the hell he wants no matter if it makes sense or not.

ChrisCrossParticipantI have yet to grasp the concept of Bradley Beal to GS. They have Klay Thompson, who for the life of him would have a snowballs chance in hell of guarding SF’s if they move him over to the SF spot. I understand Beal is BPA but, no.

Sewok15ParticipantWell now I see your logic. Kahn did draft like 4 point guards a couple years ago. I think Jones will be drafted around that area just not by the TWolves.

220ParticipantI think if Golden State doesn’t have a legit small forward prospect available they may go with someone with some scoring power off the bench ie Beal. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they traded number 7 if the guy they want doesn’t fall to them.

220ParticipantI switched Harkless with Jeffrey Taylor

pistonkidParticipantcharlotte will not pick robinson they are picking barnes.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:06pm #683474
rhamnlacsonParticipantrobinson at no 2 is too high for me he should not have that kind of pressure of being a bobcat they need a franchise changer an sf or sg in that position would be good
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:08pm #683476
rhamnlacsonParticipantand sully is a top 15 guy if he falls down to philli which i also doubt i think they might get him before boston does
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:09pm #683475
220ParticipantBarnes is definitely an option at 2, but do you really think they’re taking him?
I don’t claim to be an expert at picking who picks who…even the experts never get it 100%. I’m picking with much less information based on what I think could/should happen.

rhamnlacsonParticipantthe bobcats have the option of picking mkg and barnes it should be on e of those guys but i like the thought of perry jones as a buck
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:17pm #683488
220ParticipantThe Bobcats are a bit of a question mark for me at the moment. Harrison Barnes is a big option and I still think Robinson is a smart choice.
I hope for Michael Jordan and the city of Charlotte that they make a smart choice here. They need to pick the most ready prospect with the best prospect Jordan’s executive legacy can’t afford another Kwame Brown, Juan Dixon, Jared Jefferies, Adam Morrison pick.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:24pm #683490
rhamnlacsonParticipanttrue thats why they should not pick an unpolished player like robinson who like drummond is still a bit of a project
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:25pm #683492
220ParticipantI guess we see Robinson differently. Robinson in my opinion is far more polished than Drummond and shouldn’t be a project at all.

Sewok15ParticipantHarden was selected 3rd overall and that is considered a good pick and he comes off the bench for the Western Conference champs.

FearTheStacheParticipantNot that the person in front of him is better. Its better strategically for him to not start. on almost any other team, harden would start

rhamnlacsonParticipantis a guy who could fit better in detroit rather than in Charlotte

ChrisCrossParticipantyou don’t draft a bench player with the 7th overall pick
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:38pm #683504
220ParticipantYou do when there is no one you see starting on your team at 7. The Warriors are set at 4 of 5 positions barring injury. Unless they can draft a small forward who can start, the person they pick will be a bench player…
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:40pm #683506
220ParticipantIt happens though like when Rasheed Wallace was drafted by the Bullets when they already had Chris Webber and Juwana Howard.

220Participantposted twice
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/18/2012 - 3:44pm #683526
Sewok15ParticipantHe would but it is about who finishes the games not who starts them. A guy that can effect the game coming off the bench like Harden, Ginobli, Lou Williams, and Jason Terry is well worth a top 7 pick in my estimation.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/19/2012 - 4:32am #683716
rhamnlacsonParticipantrobinson could be a 6th man even at the 7th spot
but monroe as the pf and robinson as the center sounds much better than him being a bench player
