Has anybody heard any updates about Rasheed Sulaimon since he was dismissed from Duke? Does he have any intentions to transfer to another college, or pull off a PJ Hairston and go to the D-League? I heard that he is intending to finish the semester but would he just enter the draft without playing for the remainder of the season?

I don’t see how he even gets drafted. I guess he could be an okay 2nd round pick. I think the kid should go to the D-League. However, he could be a quality player on another school with "easier to meeet" standards (FSU comes to mind and he would do well in that defensive system).

I think Suilamon will enter the draft but go undrafted. He’s got talent and I think he’ll make a roster but he’s got obvious maturity issues. It says a lot when you’re the only person K has kicked out of Duke during his 30 plus years there. he must be a real knucklehead. Duke hasn’t missed him since he left. They clobbered Notre Dame and looked very good doing it.

Since he’d have to sit out a year if he transferred, he’s almost certainly making the jump. Someone will use a waiver on him in the second round, considering he still has first round talent. He’ll be spending time in the D League, though.

I couldn’t see him getting drafted if he enters this year. Possibly late second round but even that’s a stretch at this point. If he goes to the d-league he will probably be there for awhile. I think his best bet would be to transfer but I’m not sure if he would have to sit out a year.

could he be a graduate transfer and play right away? How does that whole process work because he could certainly be a nice piece for a lot of teams not named Duke
