gatorheelsParticipantWell Adam Morrison has come to life….17 pts 5 reb still in the 3rd quarter
DeRozan hasn’t done a thing…4 pts 2 rebounds 0 asst 3 turnovers
From the earlier games….Anthony Randolph dominated but he also picked up 9 fouls.
Summers for the Pistons was apparently the best player on the court when the Pistons played the Kings. Summers may surprise me. Personally I thought he was going to be a bust. Jerebko didn’t do anything.
Tyreke Evans was solid scoring but his turnover/asst ratio wasn’t good. Casspi was pretty quiet.

llperezI would love to see him do well, but I just have a hard time seeing him surpass Walton as the main backup at sf behind Artest. Walton is a Phil favorite.

gatorheelsParticipantPhil should try to find playing time for them both. I really believe Morrison can score easily on the NBA level if giving a chance and adequate playing time.

llperezI truly believe he can play. But both Luke and Sasha have long term deals, and Morrison is in the last year of his, so I just don’t see it happening with the Lakers unless an injury happens wich is always possible. I’m pullin for him.

spokomptonkdubParticipantmorrison finished with 24pts 5reb 3ast. That’s a great start for him on his journey back to playing again. He also shot 9-17 from the field, which is great for him considering he’s like a 35% career shooter. All in all i was impressed but he needs to keep it up

AreopogusParticipantMorrison would have probably been a great NBA player if he had never gotten hurt. He probably would have never lived up to 3rd overall expectations but still–his rookie year wasn’t bad and finished on the all-second team i think.
The downturn of his career was when his sophomore year was ended in preseason I think with the knee injury. When he came back last year he just wasn’t the same player. He lost all his aggressiveness and looked depressed out there on the court, not to mention lost. He has diabetes and that probably contributed some to his depression.
I often wonder what would have been had he never gotten hurt….
His summer league success probably has to do with having more confidence since there’s little to no expectation and he’s playing against weaker competition.
But still, I’d like him to succeed although if he ever becomes an All-Star I’ll be pissed at the Bobcats b/c they only got Vladdy for him.

sheltwon3ParticipantMorrison I think can be a solid player akin to a Sczcbiek but he will never be a good defender but he can be a solid offensive player and play within a team concept. Maybe Indiana will pick him up lol.
