I think these are 3 teams that are going to surprise people..

Raptors – They arent going to be very good but I feel like they will surprise people. They have some young wings that look like they could be great.. Derozen and Weems have all the athletic ability to be great wings in the near future.. Have a sold PG combo in Caleron and Jack.. Their frontline is going to be the real treat here. Johnson is very athletic and people have slept on him because he didnt play much for bad teams. Rumor has it that he has grown in the past few years.. He is supposed to be 6’11 now.. Davis could be a good rookie but will excell playing off of Bargnani. This guy will have a break out year and score close to 20 points per game along with close to 10 rebounds. Lets not forget that they just traded for a guy that is a spark plug off the bench in Barbosa

    Top 8:
    Claderon
    Derozan
    Weems
    Johnson
    Bargnani
    Jack
    Davis
    Barbosa

Bucks – Dont look now but the Bucks look poised to be the 5th best team in the East behind only Boston, Orlando, Miami, and Chicago.. This team made great moves and wont be a team that sneeks up on people anymore. BJ is going to be a stud PG in a year or 2 but playing with great scorers like Salmons, Redd, and Maggette.. Then he has a good post scorer in Bogut and very good role players everywhere else.. This team honestly has at least 2 legit players at every position.. They have great depth and this team is going to go as long as Bogut and Jennings go.. Look for them to make an exciting playoff run this year.. Maybe get beat in the first round but it will be a crazy series..

    Top 10:
    Jennings
    Salmons
    Maggette
    Ilysovia
    Bogut
    Dooling
    Redd
    Delfino
    Mbah a Moute
    Gooden

Clippers – This team is going to be something to watch out for.. They have great young players and a stud rookie that is going to dominate.. If Davis finds a coach that he likes he can be one of the best PGs in the league.. Gordan is a scoring machine at the 2 and guys like Foye and Butler can really play well off of Davis.. Kaman is going to be his usual lumbering yet productive self.. Craig Smith is going to bang off the bench and Ryan Gomes will probably fight for a starting spot.. They are still the Clippers but personally, I think they will fight for a playoff spot.

    Top 9:
    Davis
    Gordon
    Gomes
    Griffin
    Kaman
    Foye
    Butler
    Jordan
    Smith

These 3 teams will be teams to watch when ya can. The Raptors might be bad but they have atheltes at every positon and will be sure to put together some impressive highlight reels.. The Bucks will be one of the best teams around whether people like it or not.. The Clippers will still be the Clippers but they have Blake Griffin this year and Davis is great when he is happy.. Look for them to fight for a spot in the West..

I agree with the Bucks… I don’t think anybody will call what they do this upcoming season a suprise. Last season was surprise… The expectations for them will be higher this upcoming season. I’m expecting them to win 50 games.

The Clippers are the Clippers… They always look good on paper. I think the Raptors will be one of the worst teams in the East.

They still will play no defense, and their offense won’t be that good. They don’t have a true go-to scorer, a good low post scorer, or a great playmaker. Calderon is solid, but he isn’t really a great pg, and he is a bad defender. I predict that they will end up being the worst team in the league, with Cleveland just ahead of them.

I didn’t love the Bucks offseason. If Bogut is healty, they will probably be better than last year, but Maggette is not worth his contract. They already have a high volume shooter in Jennings, and they will have less cap space. They probably will win about 50 games.

First of all, nobody is sleeping on Amire Johnson. People need to realize that he has never gotten consistent minutes because he isn’t good. He doesn’t off much skill and his hands are awful. He tries hard and is athletic.

Second, there is no good argument that Chicago is better than Milwaukee. The Bucks were better last year, and they upgraded their roster in much the same way the Bulls did.

Third, the Clippers are still going to stink. Have your pick of who they have a better roster than: Lakers, Mavs, Spurs, Rockets, Jazz, Nuggets, Thunder, Blazers, Suns, Hornets, and Grizzlies.

The Raptors suck. I could see them losing 60 games

The Bucks- How are they gonna surprise? I say there the 4th best team in the East maybe

Clippers- Aren’t they supposed to surprise EVERY year?

I think the Bucks are the 4th best in the East, ahead of the Celtics. The Celtics are built for the playoffs, not the regular season.

Raptors’ defense will be last, but we should get some nice highlights from DeRozan

Clippers have a decent roster every year, but something always goes wrong.

raptors-i do like the direction they are going in with actually drafting good athletes. I honestly dont know what to expect from amir johnson. I guess you could say im one of those people sleeping on him, but i cant blame myself for that considering what he has brought to the table so far. But overall, i really dont like them for next year at all. I say they are about a 20 win team.

Bucks, at this point, unless you are saying they are a legit contender to come out of the east, then you really cant say they will surprise people. The common opinion is that they will win about 50 games and be in the 4-6 range in the east. So if they accomplish that, then they didnt surprise anyone. I do disagree with both teams above who said there is no good argument for the bulls to be ahead of the bucks, i think the bulls will be better.

CLippers. THey absolutely can surprise people. If blake is a roy candidate and baron plays inspired ball, they are tough. But the west is so loaded not sure where they are gonna pick up enough wins to make the playoffs.
