As of late I have taken some interest into Miller as a prospect and have seen him play some games time and time again and he is probably my favorite player in high school at the moment, very versatile forward who can shoot from the perimeter, take you off the dribble, dunk on you, can back you down in the post, has a good face up game, pretty athletic, has a good back to the basket game, has good ball handling skills but still needs some work on it, is a solid rebounder despite his very skinny frame and is an underrated passer and to me if he works more on his ball handling could assume a Point Forward role at times during games. People compare him to Kevin Durant which I can understand but I am not sure if their games are that similar, any other comparisons you guys can think of? And I am curious to see everyone else’s opinions on his game, where you think he is headed for college and how you feel he is as a prospect.

Wreckless, I didn’t compare him to Durant I said a lot of people do but I couldn’t really see the similarities in their games, though I do believe he is the best player in his class though, he is so talented and so versatile and yet he has so much more room to grow as a player which is pretty scary, Gilchrist has been the top player in the nation for awhile but I really think it is time for Miller to take his place, Gilchrist has a high motor, excellent body control, great athleticism, great at getting to the rim and free throw line but to me he can struggle to shoot from the perimeter at times but if this year he can develop a perimeter game then Miller is going to have to work hard to grab the top spot, Miller is very skinny though and does need to bulk up and his release is a little slow causing him to get blocked by taller players guarding him but I still believe he is the best prospect and player in this class. Teague to me is top 5 in the class for sure but Anthony Davis, Miller and Gilchrist all seem more talented as overall players, they are able to bring more versatility to the game which is why I rank them higher, Teague to me right now has an NBA body and great PG skills and also looks better then his brother did at this stage of his career. Rivers is one of my favorites of this class too but I cannot rank him higher as a prospect then Teague, Davis, Gilchrist or Miller because he does not have a true position, he plays SG but for the NBA is too skinny and a little too short to truly excel at that position, he does play PG at times but never for a full game which to me leads to questioning his playmaking ability, passing skills, setting up teammates and overall effectiveness at that position, I am not trying to be negative because Rivers is probably my second favorite player in the class but in my eyes is not the top player in his class.

I dont see the Leslie comparison at all Miller is already much more advanced then Leslie who simply relies on his athleticism. MIller has a much better shot even though he has a bad release, way better handles, better vision and is a more refined and skilled player in almost every regard

When you say Miller’s skill is MUCH MORE ADVANCE than Leslie, you make it sound like Leslie’s offensive skills are that of Tyrus Thomas and Miller is Kobe Bryant. Leslie’s skills set is perfect for an NBA SF, 3 point shot will come along as you naturally become a better shooter as you get older. I see the Miller and Leslie comparison much closer than your look at it. Their body is the same, I do give the edge to Miller as far as offensive polish at the same age but not by much, but other than that I see them very similarly.

I’m not that into 6’9 guys who think they are point guards. The kid is definately talented, but will have to adjust his game to translate to the NBA. He is a one and done for sure. Id comprae him to Lamar Odom.

He is an athletic combo forward who is a matchup nightmare for opposing teams. He can shoot over the top of smaller defenders and take bigger opponents to the basket. He is a great ball handler for his size and a very good shooter with deep range. He likes to create space for himself and pull-up off the dribble from the three point line, but can score in the mid-range and in the post as well. He definitely needs to improve his strength, but his potential is off the charts.
