Lin with 9 points and 2 assists in the first 5 minutes of the game…  I still don’t want to believe the hype but it’s getting pretty difficult.

The thing I like about him is how fundamental.  I am glad that someone like Lim can be successful even though he isn’t a fantastic athlete.

i have to be honest you are truelly the definition of a ‘hater’. you have doubted in lin every chance you got on here. the kid already has like 9 points in the first q, so he’s definitely getting more then that low score you predicted. sorry for rambaling peoples but this guy hates to much.

I am well aware that I’m a pessimist.  I didn’t want to believe the Lin hype just yet.  Although, he’s making me look stupid every minute he’s on the court — he’s definitely pretty good now that I’m actually watching him instead of hearing the hype.

He moves pretty well with the ball and is pretty fundamental.  I just don’t believe he’s this 25ppg, 8apg kind of guy.

6minutes left in the 2nd quarter and Lin already has the 13 points while Kobe only had six. Almost looks like your predictions are reversed lol

Lin could be a Goran Dragic type for NY. I would love if NY could find a PG who could start over him though.

I love what Lin is doing as far as penetrating and finding the open man goes, I really like his potential for the future, but I also like what the Lakers are doing here, they are trying to get good shots inside, and get open three pointers for their bench guys, but other than Barnes and Gasol and Bynum to an extent, nothing is falling.

The only problem I have with Jeremy Lin now is he seems out of control at times, he needs to work on his footwork, he’s turnover prone, and his three-ball.  All of that has to do with the tempo of the game and experience so he’ll improve those aspects of his game.

Other than that, he’s looking like a very nice player for the Knicks.

I doubted him but now that I actually got a look at him, he’s proving to be a very confident slasher that finds open guys.  It’ll be interesting to see how he’ll mesh with Carmelo.

He can very well be a 16ppg-8apg kind of guy when Melo and Amar’e come back.

How was Lin still available in your fantasy league yesterday? Crazy no one else picked him up.

I have no idea how he was still available.  I thought he was all hype after two games so I did not sign him then.  After his third good game, he was still there.  Dropped Chalmers and picked him up.  As a matter of fact, when I signed him yesterday, he was only taken in about 57% of leagues.  That number is up to 99.4% now.

I just checked, someone dropped Elton Brand and snagged Mario Chalmers.
