Post Play in the Playoffs?

Is it underrated? Who has it? Who's in trouble?

I think either a scoring post threat is needed or a defensive deterent is needed someone who will play good positional D, take some charges, get some offensive brds. So i don't think its underrated in the playoffs

Who has it. Well the Grizz have 2 highly functional players on the Block.

Thunder have Sons of Thunder Ibaka & Perk who may not give you more than 20 pts combined but can give you 15-20 brds & 3-6blks/3 charges per game as a frontline total.

Lakers Enough Said 7'0/7'0/6'11

Bulls are loaded with Post players

Mavs TChandler gives Mavs a Shot-Blocking presence.

Who's in trouble

Celtics: They have 3 grandfathers of their fronline.

Magic are really thin on the fronline.

NY Amare has no one backing him up. When you are relying on the LandLord for help you will be evicted from the Playoffs

Spurs Their fronline is old & they lack depth.

Agree or disagree leave thoughts if i forgot any teamss

Celtics are not in trouble.

Celtics are not in trouble. Those so called grand fathers still beat up ont he young bucks. Paul peirce, ray ray and K.G are still one of the best all around at there position. Pretty good considering they are so called grand fathers

I feel

That other than brand phi front line is very thin.

Also watching the pacers yesterday they have some depth up front with foster/Hibbert and Mcroberts/Hansbrough.

shag/kg/Joneal

38/34/32. Now Perk was traded the Celtics opponents are converting @ the Rim @ a 64% clip. Before they traded the Best Defensive Post Player (per Kobe) opponents were only converting around 53% @ the rim. So how does that translate to them being OK. & Does PPierce & Ray Ray play in the Post @all.

Well the team with the worst

Well the team with the worst post presence in the playoffs just got a win(minute left) against the Lakers so I guess it just depends on the team.

Even so is it better then any

Even so is it better then any other team? Also I was taking into account that they didn't even perform that well in a game they won.

I would take Perkins/Serge,

I would take Perkins/Serge, Duncan/Blair,Alldridge/Camby, Chandler/Dirk, Gasol/Zach, Kenyon/Nene.

Lakers have it but it didnt

Lakers have it but it didnt matter game one. Horents had a great gameplan, Paul was on fire and Pau didnt show up which seems to happen just about every other playoff game for him. They do have one of the best post players in the game though in Kobe Bryant and need to find him when hes matched up against NOs smaller guards.
