Hey guys, I have a blog for a class and for one post I tinkered around with Basketball-References player comparisons. It was a couple weeks ago, though, so some statistics might have changed a little.

I thought I’d post it here to spark some discussion about it. Criticism of the post itself is fine. I just wrote it out of boredom one Sunday.

    Here’s the link: http://wp.me/p35kp9-4V

    Thoughts? Opinions? Jabs? lol

What other odd comparisons do you guys have?

EDIT: thanks for reading if you do.

Some of those (statistical) comparisons are scary similar.

I would’ve looked into Reggie Evans and Dennis Rodman when all Rodman wanted to do was rebound rather than defend.

Meh, comparing Reggie Evans to a Hall of Famer is pushing it a bit too far.

    In case you wondering though:

    Reggie Evans: 7.5 ppg, 13.2 rpg, 15.1 OREB%, 28.3 DREB%, 21.7 REB%
    Dennis Rodman: 8.3 ppg, 14.9 rpg, 17.2 OREB%, 29.6 DEREB%, 23.4 REB%

Evans’ rebounding percentages were higher than Rodman’s during the playoffs, though.

Yeah, Its true but still Dennis Rodman for me is the best compared to Reggie Evans.
