Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantSome of these were pretty accurate. Some were just terrible. Stanley Johnson in no way shape or form reminds me of john wall. Ditto for hezonja-stephenson.

rich.homie.mitchParticipantHaven’t watched much Kevon Looney, but I dont think the Taj Gibson is accurate at all, Taj is strictly a PF while Kevon can play 4 or the 3. Kevon used to play PG for his highschool, he also has no post game but that will come with time. I think the big difference between the two is that Looney is much more versatile than Taj.

BiggysmallsParticipantWhoever compared Kaminski to Frye, I disagree with your comparison but I’m glad you didn’t compare him to a white guy so I gave you a point.

MattP31ParticipantOkafor-Al Jefferson with more height, length, athleticism, and defense
Mudiay-Early John Wall but more raw
Montrezl Harrell-More athletic Charles Oakley
Willie Cauley-Stein-Nerlens Noel
Stanley Johnson-Ron Artest
Devin Booker-JR Smith without all the BS

King CaluchaParticipantThis is always a terrible discussion until it’s clear whether we’re talking about style of play or ceiling.
– If it’s style of play (as it should be)… that Mudiay-Wall comparison is a great one. Early John Wall wasn’t a consistent shooter (still isn’t but at least he can hit the midrange j).
– WCS can be what Javale never was. An athletic smart big who knows what to do on the floor.
– KAT is a tough one. It seems people has already put him the "shot blocker" label, but he’s so much more than that. Actually he has pretty decent post moves, not comparable to Okafor, but still pretty good. He’s also an underrated shooter… believe me, he can knock down 3’s consistently. I can’t think of a similar player lately.

Jayrush22191ParticipantI thought the best comp for KAT was Rasheed Wallace because for the most he was a defense first guy who was able to post up consistently (which i have no doubt towns can do) but the question is can he consistently stretch the floor like Sheed…..and besides he doesnt have half the issues

beerandhiphopParticipantHarrell always kinda reminded me of a less skilled shittttier elton brand. Stanley Johnson is more Paul Pierce than Ron Artest… Looney could be Brandan Wright or Trevor Ariza depending on how skiled he is or will be….

Jayrush22191ParticipantJahlil Okafor doesnt compare to Duncan at all defensively most times he doesnt even give an effort while Duncan on the other hand is somewhere in the top 25 all time in blocks……offensively i see some comparisons but more so just the polish on his game, Okafor has a much different build he about an inch or two shorter and 30-40 pounds heavier than Tim at tht age
Amare was never very good on defense either and towns is 2 inches talller and more of a traditional center which amare has always been a power forward
deAngelo Russell has 3 inches on Parker and has a much better jumpshot than a young Tony Parker….but in his defense Parker is far more efficient near the rim
i may be craY but i have not seen kevon looneys face up game so until i do he looks like tyrus thomas
i havent seen Mosgov hit any three pointers or flash the face up game kaminsky has
Frye and Lyles are polar opposites….Frye would preder to shoot from the perimeter all game while Lyles likes to get bear the rim the stretch the floor once the defense plays off
herzonja is light years bmore athletic than kyle korver and has a better all-around game and higher ceiling
