fcb206ParticipantI’m curious how Gerald Green would do as a head coach. at the very least it would force him to learn how basketball is actually played.

RafterParticipantCall me crazy, but i think Brian Scalabrine could be a good coach, he must’ve gained a great amount of insight from sitting on the bench and learning from Rivers and currently Thibbodeau in terms of appoach and play-designing, he also has a degree of charisma that players could warm to. Also, he knows what it’s like to be on a winning team, it seems that the most successful sports coaches never were stellar players but they knew how the game was played and they had a gift of player interaction and this could be the case here. Soccer manager Jose Mourinho is a prime example, he too was never a standout player but he’s one of the best Soccer managers of all-time, obviously i’m not putting Brian Scalabrine in that kind of class but, how sensational would it be if Scal was an NBA coach?
Chris Paul has great coach potential. Jason Kidd has a very bright future if he chooses to throw his hat into the coaching ring. Andre Miller is another who could make the transition effectively.

phila9012Participantderek fisher would be good coaching canidate. He is a great leader and a great person.
Kevin garnett, this is sort of out there but he has the fire, passion and work ethic to at least be an assistant coach.
Tim duncan he is the most fundimentally sound player there is, sort of like how patrick ewing became a coach, he could really teach and develope big men.
