Celtics3178Participantcould they work a Smart and Jackson for Okafor? Makes sense for both teams financially and timeline wise. Okafor needs anew start and numerous reports had a sign and trade fall thru with Amir. Smart would fit nice next to Simmons and Fultz.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI think Philly is happy with the LEGEND that is TJ McConnell

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantAnd we don’t need Jackson included
I’d trade Okafor for a player like Bradley and a 2nd round pick (And hope he’d resign for under 20 million…YEAH RIGHT SMDH)
The Celtics are clearly going to lose a few player with the signing of Hayward, Smart and Crowder keep coming up in trade rumors, Thomas is all of sudden being cast as some cancer/negative impact player, he might sign with a team that really shows him they want his services, than you have Bradley who has to go…
If I’m Philly I hold off because I think TLC or Korkmaz can become the starting SG once JJ Reddick’s contract comes off the book and we start TLC next to Fultz in 2018
Bradley would want to get a longterm deal and If I’m Philadelphia I hold off on signing anyone on big money because
A) Embiid and Covington deserve to be resigned to good contracts, I’d be careful handing out a Max to Embiid but he doesn’t qualify for a Super Max so it may not matter Anyway, Covington can earn a huge payday from Philadelphia or become another casualty of the process
B) if we keep our cap space in place and Only have Embiid and Covington on 20 million dollar deals, we can sign a Big Fish in 2018-2019 BEFORE we have to extend Simmons and Saric and Fultz and TLC, that means we could add let’s say Klay Thompson and really take the league by storm post Lebron/Warriors rivalry..

The GoatParticipantBoston need to make a trade to fit in Hayward, they have to move Smart or Rozier I believe, as well as let a few go (eg. Jerebko) and rescind qualifying offer to Olynyk to make him a UFA (which they have just done) . Would not be unheard of for Philly to deal, but I doubt they help division rivals.. Atlanta’s deal makers would sell their mothers at the moment, you may see some players dumped there

capecodderParticipantDo not have to trade Smart….Crowder is a more logical choice
