 I am not a Louisville fan under no circumstances.But I do like their toughness and I like how they made it to the Final 4 last year.They will be even tougher this season I think. Now what I want to know is if you guys had to pick one of the two from Siva or Russ Smith.Who would you take? and will either one ever see a day in the NBA. Siva freaky bouncy and real quick but his jumper is suspect and he gets tunnel vision every once and a while.Then sometimes he is a real good passer. With Russ he is a lockdown defender(look at the big east tournament or the 7 steals vs memphis) he can really put it in the hoop (30 points vs kentucky last season) and he is quick and fairly bouncy as well. I personally feel Siva may get into the league this year and Russ will next year but both are second rounders.

If Siva wants to get to the league he better show improvement and Russ needs to show some PG skills. Id rather have the starting 2 guard for Lville Wayne Blackshear than the two of them. Both Russ and Siva seem like only good college players to me.

Siva is a classic college PG, very quick, explosive, and undersized .. He strikes me as a Kemba Walker with a more inconsistent jumper, not quite as quick or explosive with similar decision making.. I haven’t seen enough of Russ Smith other than a few of his better games last year to pass judgement on him yet, from what I’ve seen he reminds me of Malcolm Lee out of UCLA with worse shot selection..

You can’t compare Siva and walker. Kemba was THE man at uconn while Peyton isn’t. Yes their both undersized but Siva is 5’9 while kemba is 6’1
