Nba cleared him to play in game 7 according to USATODAY. There was speculation that he would be suspended because he stepped onto the court about 2 steps infront of where he was standing. I think it was the right decision by the league because he was already standing and he was in the immediate vicinity of where he initially was. This can be attributed to Popeye Jones who held George back from stepping any further onto the court.

On another note, though I dont agree with the Zach Randolph suspension, though it might be the right thing because he threw a closed fist at Adams and though it was not assessed a technical at the time but according to the rules throwing a closed fist is prohibited though it had minimal contact.

On the one hand it involves my Pacers and on the other a country man of mine in Steven Adams, so my opinion may seem bias.

I feel that neither should have been suspended.

In the case of Z-Bo it was just a plan push, it was unfortunate that he happened to put his hand up by his face. It may warrant a fine and that is about it.

The George one I don’t understand all the hate, it is not 2007, Stern is not in charge, it has been realized that the Phoenix suspension was a stupid decision and the league has learnt by not doing it again. Instead of all this complaining how about we look it as though the NBA is thinking about situations rather than just going to the rule book and straight away suspending people.

The purpose of the rule is to prevent any unnecessary escalation in the situation and Paul George had absolutely no influence on what occurred. Had there been a Hawk player in the immediate vicinity then yes that would be a different story, but there wasn’t so why does it matter. He had as much to do with the situation as the Hawks guys down the other end of the court who came of their bench.

Neg away, it doesn’t matter the decisions have been made whether we agree with them or not.

It’d be stupid if the NBA suspended an All-Star for stepping on a court while a little minor scuffle is going on, Paul George was unaware he was beyond the line and had absolutely no intent of going on and possibly being suspended.
