lalailaParticipantOK OK i know everyone can be good in highlights or so… but watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivCtVeCP9XM&feature=player_embedded
but i was really really impressed..he wants to be 2guard and his quickness and ability to create own shot will let it do easily..but 6’9 long wingspan and athleticism makes him ideal SF too..
really too bad he was under the radar because of small school i’m just start thinking what so much better older Wes Johnson do that makes him 10 picks higher pick?0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/05/2010 - 8:43am #327226
TRC1991Participantone thing i can say to answer your question is wesley johnson has proven himself against big time competition…george really hasn’t
in the tourney against gonzaga wesley had 31 and 14
against san jose state, paul george had 0 pts in 27 minutes…
not saying either of those games define the player but wesley has experience (hes 22) and hes a very long and fluid athlete while george is probably a little bit more of a project at this point

lalailaParticipantyou are right. but i’m not saying he is better player at all. but with his skills he definitely is interesting prospect and he could become better who knows..

the I in winParticipantIf he actually starts to play defence he can be very good. He can shot and his one dribble to the side is good but he doesn’t have much ability to get all the way to the rack.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI saw this and someone said behind me ” He reminds me of Tracy McGrady”
Looking at this tape…..He should be a steal for someone.

JNixonParticipantGeorge is a very good scorer no doubt about it. He needs to polish up some things up, like his handle, and he probably won’t be an immediate impact player, but 7 or 8 ppg as a rookie is very reasonable for him. I’d take him in the lotto, and he’ll be a very good player for some team.

memphisxParticipantAt George’s age, what had Wesley Johnson done?

whyyouhatingParticipantn he will end up being one of the best players in this draft.
Athletic long and can shoot. With work on his polish he can be a load on the wing.
At worst a spot up shooter and finisher on the break. The kid measured at 6’9″ with shoes.
Imaging him on the wing opposite a low post treat and the ball swings to him not only does his man have to
recover they have to get up high to block his shoot. how many 2’s or even 3’s are that long?0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/05/2010 - 12:22pm #327355
apb540ParticipantI have been pretty high on this kid for a while now. This whole Babbit vs George thing is really reminding me of Luke Jackson vs Iggy back in 04…

sheltwon3ParticipantI would love for New Orleans to get George and maybe see if we can get switch wrights with GSW if they draft a pf.
