I know a lot of people had bashed Pat Riley, including DWade for taking Beasley over Mayo. I honestly think by Beasley being in Miami, it was not a good system fit for him as a player coming into the league, especially with everyone having SKY-HIGH expectations for him as a rookie. I think if Beasley was still in Miami everyone would still label him a bust, when in fact he has shown us he CAN reach the star potential everyone once thought he would reach. After all, all Beasley needed was a new change of scenery.

If Miami would have never took Beasley would he still be the player he is today?

If Mayo would have been drafted instead of Beasley to Miami, would he have the same rookie season Beasley had in that system?

*From seeing Beasley’s numbers this year, verses the numbers he had put up in his first 2 seasons in Miami, NO ONE can blame Pat Riley for seeing what he saw in Beasley for selecting him #2 overall instead of Mayo.

Has Beasley reached his ceiling or does he have anything else in the bag to pull out for us?
