Their is no more team offensively that is more perplexing to me than the Indiana Pacers.

They have Paul George who is a stud athlete and yet they never run fast breaks. Hill and Stephenson are more than capable of running with him, yet we slow it down and settle for a half court set. I have 2 problems with this 1) It prevents the opportunity for easy baskets which allow the players to get into a rhythm and means less forced shots. 2) It can either excite your home crowd or eliminate the crowd when on the road.

Hibbert and West are not outside shooters so why do they get the ball at the top of the key beyond the 3 point line where they are no threat what so ever. Hibbert should be living on the block and spacing out when one of the guards attacks. West is a mid-range killer so he should be initiated t the high-post offensively.

Paul George to me has a great mid-range game however ruins it with all those 3 point attempts, he should take a look at Kobe Bryant who took threes as a last option and stuck with attacking the hoop and his mid-range game. To be fair Paul takes a lot of 3’s with 2-3secs on shot clock as there is a lack of ball movement occurring, however sometimes he just settles and doesn’t attack.

To me this is an example of Frank Vogel’s limited understanding of offense in the NBA. Indiana have great weapons and we need a change of coach to a guy with some offense.

I like Vogel, but he has got to understand that the league is changing and the way the Pacers play is not going to get it done.

Paul George is not a superstar. He CAN be a superstar one day. As far as I’m concerned, he’s a very poor man’s LeBron James. Great athleticism, defense, and potential play-making ability. However, he’s a streaky shooter, gives up in the clutch, and is not a great leader to a team full of headcases (who would be?).

Where did I say Paul George is a superstar? What I have stated is they need to play to his strengths as he is there best player on both ends of the floor, that may not be ideal however that is what we have to work with.

Watch the early season play, it wasn’t so much George taking over as it was the offensive scheme working. They have gone away from that with Stephenson becoming more ball hungry and Hibbert complaining about touches with Vogel caving and changing things.

I did not say you said he was. I made a general post for the rest of the Pacers fans on this website.

Let’s be fair, LeBron had 5 fouls going into the 4th and Wade/bosh were gassed by 4th quarter from overcoming the worst officiating since 2002.

You want to play that sarcasm game, go for it. PG is still terrible in the clutch even despite this game where the refs kept the Pacer’s chance alive. F-cking ridiculous that you’d be a contrarian despite the calls. A-shole.

Let go of your fantasy that the pacers are a worthy team. They are the worst #1 seed of all time and just received the most one-sided calls since 2002. Pacers fans, be happy tonight. It’ll be the last time you are.

Granted the Pacers play isn’t pretty, but they are a number one seed in the Conference finals. There have been one seeds knocked out by 8 seeds. In saying that Warriors and Grizz played great basketball.

That Rose less Bulls was terrible and just chill out.

They aren’t, but no one wants to see the heat get a week worth of rest before the  finals
