AdamJCallejaParticipantHow impressive have the freshman of this conference been. Last year the only standout freshman were Stanley, Brooks and Poetl (Reid Travis never seemed to be healthy). But this year’s freshman clas is so deep. Cal’s Rabb and Brown have met expectations, Dejounte Murray leading the pack of a very impressive group of Washington freshmen, Tyler Dorsey playing like a veteran, Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu changing the whole outlook of USC basketball, Stephen Thompson and Tinkle showing promise for OSU, Aaron Holiday looking like the best ball hound in the conference already, Trier showing his value with UA struggling without him. Who gets Freshman of the year?

connybucketsParticipantI’d give it to Dejounte Murray. He and Andrew Andrews have led a much improved Washington team to a good season in the Pac 12. Him and Markelle Fultz next year are gonna take the league and the country by storm

llperezthis year has been a major surprise in the pac 12 due in large part to unexpeccted guys stepping up like the freshman you mentioned. The depth in the ocnference is crazy.
Non conference wins vs wichita state, gonzaga x2, baylor, kentucky, duke, temple, san diego st, texas, byu, nc state, creighton, texas am
oregon(17-4), arizona(16-5), usc(17-5), and Utah(17-5) should all be ranked top 25 right now and washington, ucla and oregon st are all ncaa tourny caliber teams when thye have it going and thats before we even mention cal who once they get tyrone wallace back are as good as any team in the conference in my opinion at 14-7 overall with some really tough losses.
