Sewok15ParticipantHe has 30 of G-Towns 45 points and is leading them over the Cuse. I have really liked him all year but I haven’t seen him this aggressive and assertive…it is scary right now…what is the highest you could see him getting drafted?

HaleParticipantHe’s number 3 on my big board right now, which is probably about the highest he could possibly go in the draft.

Sewok15ParticipantThat is exactly where I would put him on my big board as well but I think if he takes over like this and leads G-Town far in the tourney he could move up to second or maybe even first with a real spectacular showing.

HaleParticipantIn this draft I agree with you. He’s improved dramatically as a shooter which was supposed to be his huge weakness and he keeps getting better.

Professor RozayParticipantHe went hard today and every time I see this kid play I like his NBA potential more and more.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI might be high on him,if he was a little more athletic, stronger and could take guys off the dribble…..But he’s smart, versatile and plays within the team concept..So in this weak draft he could go as high as 3…..

Sewok15ParticipantHis percentages are off the charts right now. 50% from the field and 45% from 3….Only Oladipo can compare among lottery prospects. I see them as very similar players going forward with Otto being a pure 3 with more offensive potential and Victor being a 2 or 3 and more of a defensive stopper. Victor has the benefit of playing with better offensive players around him and doesn’t have to take as many tough shots as Porter does.

Sewok15ParticipantI see him as a Nic Batum type player with slightly less athleticism. I think he is pretty strong though from what I have seen of him. He isn’t really a guy that will play a lot of 4 but for a 3 I think he has ideal strength. He seems to always be under control. I would say he is possibly the surest bet in the lottery and in a draft like this that presents more value than it usually would.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI like Sewok’s comparison to Nic Batum…I’d probably say it’s somewhere between him and Tayshaun Prince. He’s obviously got more weight on him than Prince, lol. I think Porter will be a solid NBA player!

Mr. 19134ParticipantIs it time to start thinking that he may be a better wing prospect then McLemore? He’s younger, taller, and longer then B Mac and is already proving he can be the MAN on a winning team. G’Town plays at such a slow slug it out pace it’s really hard to translate his numbers, but he’s clearly showing more scoring potential then most people believed. G’Town hasn’t missed a beat with Whittington out and he’s scoring nearly all of the limited points they do score in a game.
Otto Porter is certainly a prospect I’m going to have get a 2nd opinion on because he’s exceeding the label of talented glue guy, and showing he can be that while putting points on the board which is a totally different scenario. Now you’re looking at a guy whose floor is do it all glue guy, but ceiling is possible 2nd option type of player.
I know he’s not the same bouncy athlete that Paul George is, but is it crazy to start thinking he can be a very similar player in the NBA?

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantI know one thing, I hope he gets drafted by the Wizards, they need an athletic do everything small forward like him. Pretty much a Trevor Ariza upgrade. I’d hate for the Wizards to daft Shabazz Muhammed. I love Shabazz but he’s sort of a ball stopper, and he really doesn’t do anything besides scoring yet. Shabazz averages 1 assists, 0.1 blocks, and 0.7 steals. Great scorer, okay rebounder, but not really much else. I think he’d mess up the flow of the future superstar backcourt of John Wall & Bradley Beal.. Those 2 dudes together is going to be a scary tandem for teams in the future. Going to be James Harden, Russell Westbrook lite!

King CaluchaParticipantHe has played well against good teams and that’s a plus. The guy can score and defend. If he does well in the tournament he should be picked around 3-8.

Sewok15ParticipantOtto was at it again tonight after an abysmal first half where he scored one point he ended up with 22 for the game on 7-12 shooting. He also had the game winning lay up with under 10 seconds to play. The more I watch him the more I like him. He does a little bit of everything and rarely forces the issue. If he keeps playing the way he is he will be a top 5 lock.
