Which 2 or 3 players came together (either through drafts/trades/FA) that got you excited.

Thinking back the 3 players that had me excited early were KGill/Grandmama/AMourning. I really liked this team.  They were a Good PG away from Con Finals. M Bogues was not the answer.

I’m thinking Run TMC. this is for oldschool ballers.

There have been a ton of tandems that i got excited about TMac/GHill

So what Big 3 or Tandem had you most excited?

Nash, Stoudemire, and Marion have to be up there with my favourites of all time.

We really have to get Brian Scalabrine, Matt Bonner, and John Bryant on the same team ASAP.

I don’t think they had any cool nickname, but I loved watching Glen "Big Dog" Robinson, Ray Allen and Sam Cassell when they played together in Milwaukee.

I can only hope that they pick up another exciting SG to play with Bogut and Jennings and breath some life into that team and town.

How I wish I could have seen the McGrady-Hill combination in Orlando come to a fruition. That duo made me excited initially when they first signed with the Magics.

Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp were fun to watch. It is too bad they could not get a third to join them.  Jim McIlvaine does not count.

Grant Hill in his prime and his all-round game
    Plus
T-Mac in his prime with his lights out, unstoppable scoring ability.

I’m sure that team would have made it out of the first round

Kidd and Carter backed up by Jefferson always looked good but could never quite deliver. When we talk about big 3’s do we mean ones that are put together or grow from within the team. Phoenix drafted and developed both Marion and STAT and Nash although he was only there for one season at first I seem to recall. Boston and the Heat both drafted one of their big 3 so if the Knicks do get another top FA next summer it may be the first major FA big 3 put together in recent years.

When you look at the numbers Nash, Stoudemire, and Marion was putting up when they were together, you must wonder how in the hell did they not win a championship? Marion was one of the most underrated players ever while playing with the Suns on that run they had… Not to mention all of the good prospects that came through their franchise that they basically let go.

As a Laker fan, I’d have to say Shaq & Kobe… Shaq was virtually unstoppable for that stretch, and Kobe could drop 40 on you any given night as well. Kobe could have won more than 5 if he got along with Shaq…

    Yeah, Marion was really underrated.

Only a 4x All-Star and 2x All-NBA Team. People gave him no credit 4 reelz.

Peja-Vlade-CWebb was pretty sick for the Kings in the early 2000’s.
