HaleParticipantWould just like to get users opinions on these things. Just answer a few and say why, I don’t want just a list of answers with no explanation.
Amare Stoudemire: Overrated or not
Derrick Rose: Future of NBA pg’s or above average starter
John Wall: Superstar or bust (which do you think is more likely)
Thunder: Playoffs or not
2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best)
Demar Derozan: Will he be great?
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out?
Ed Davis: Top 5 pick or all hype
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? (better not say the Vikings)
Best player in the NFL
I love the NFL or College Football and I’ll take on most any argument in either
EDIT: few more
USC: How will they do? I think they are loaded again
Heisman: Bradford, Tebow, McCoy, other?

2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best)?2010 if everyone enters
Demar Derozan: Will he be great? All Star
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out?Yes
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? (better not say the Vikings)? Jets

HaleParticipantReally the Jets? With Sanchez at QB? I mean I think he will be amazing but he is only a rookie.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:30pm #203160
QHaynes20Stoudemire is slighty overrated. I remember when he 1st broke out he looked like Shawn Kemp but he lacks on D
Rose is the future but I really like Rondo and Jennings and they can contend with Rose as the Best PG in the East
More likely he is a bust because the odds of being a superstar is always slim. I think he will be good but odds are not in his favor of being a superstar.
Not this season but Close in 2010
2008. I see 6 legit superstars in this class
He will be average to me
Yes he will break out but no like a superstar, he reminds me of Shawn Marion
Top 2 pick.
Going out of NBA too…
Giants…too deep on the O and D lines and 4 good RB’s who can split time
Aidren Peterson
NFL…its the better league,

JNixonParticipantAmare Stoudemire: Overrated or not: Not Overrated
Derrick Rose: Future of NBA pg’s or above average starter: Future of NBA PG’s
John Wall: Superstar or bust (which do you think is more likely)- Superstar. He is too athletic to flame out
Thunder: Playoffs or not: Not this year
2007,2008 or 2010 draft class? I like 2010
Demar Derozan: Will he be great? He’ll be a decent player, he has a hell of alot of holes in his game though.
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out? I hope so, he’s mostly a run jump athlete. He has a better jumper than he used to though, I think he’ll make moderate improvement.
Ed Davis: Top 5 pick or all hype- ALLLLL Hype..
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? The Baltimore Ravens
Best player in the NFL- Either Darren Sproles or Terence Newman. lol. It’s Adrian Peterson to me.
I love the NFL or College Footbal and I’ll take on most any argument in either: College is more fun to watch in my opinion.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:31pm #203162
Michael.S.ParticipantI like Underdogs.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:32pm #203164
Michael.S.ParticipantOh and Ed Davis Is All Hype but he is hyped for a reason, quote me on that if you know what I mean.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:34pm #203165
QHaynes20you guys will see this year, Ed Davis is not all hype and we will see him breakout
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:34pm #203166
HaleParticipantI’m surprised no one has Atlanta winning the Super Bowl, they are loaded now. College is more fun to watch and follow but the NFL has the it factor for me, college is still better but I love them both. Best player in football is I hate to say it Peyton Manning.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:35pm #203167
QHaynes20Atlanta lost alot of good players on D.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:37pm #203169
HaleParticipantForgot about that haha.

Michael.S.ParticipantCan I make my own, like this?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:41pm #203175
QHaynes20Its cool…what are your answers to these questions man?
Also, to answer your edit.
USC will go 11-2. Tough game vs Ohio State and At Oregon
Heisman this year is Colt McCoy but look out for Johnathan Dwyer from Georgia Tech

2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best)

USC: How will they do? I think they are loaded again they will do good
Heisman: Bradford, Tebow, McCoy, other Terrell Pryor dude is sick he play for ohio state he is overlooked was number 1 in 2008 recuriting class
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:43pm #203178
HaleParticipantIf you are talking to me, then of course.
I think USC will beat Ohio State again, but you never know when someone as dynamic as Pryor is on the field.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:45pm #203181
Michael.S.ParticipantQHaynes Me? I already answered them. Thanks YupYup
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:47pm #203186
QHaynes20No i was asking yup to answer his questions
I think USC will lose to OSU, Pryor will have a beast game and there D lost 7 starters last years
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:49pm #203188
HaleParticipantThey still have 6+ Preseason All Americans, and they recruit amazing they aren’t as good as last year but they will be amazing again. If Pryor goes off, then OSU wins though.

gatorheelsParticipantAmare Stoudemire: Overrated or not….Nope when healthy he is a beast. He knows how to score. If he would learn how to play defense or try harder on the defensive end then we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. The fact that he gets injured a lot is hurting his stock some. But yeah when healthy he is an elite post player.
Derrick Rose: Future of NBA pg’s or above average starter- He is the future. He has all the tools- speed, size, athleticism etc.. Needs to keep working on his defense & shooting but both of those will improve at least a little as he matures.
John Wall: Superstar or bust (which do you think is more likely)- Superstar…see Derrick Rose ha
Thunder: Playoffs or not- Nope no way not this season. They didn’t add anybody that will make a difference this year. The fact that they got a year older is not going to result in 20 more wins propelling them into the playoffs.
2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best)- Tough question it is either 2010 or 2008. I think you have to go with 2008…way too many solid pros & some special players in that draft….Rose, Beasley, Love, Mayo, Randolph, Lopez….the list goes on and on
Demar Derozan: Will he be great? I don’t see it. He hasn’t impressed me. I watched some USC games as well as summer league. I haven’t seen anything that jumped out to me besides his leaping ability. That alone isn’t going to make you a good pro. I think he develops into an average pro. I just don’t see him being a star but I could be wrong.
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out? I think so…you have to think he improves his jumpshot a little. He will also learn to be more aggressive on offense as he matures. Most players get smarter as they get older too. He is already a force on defense. Probably not a huge break out but he will play with a purpose this year.
Ed Davis: Top 5 pick or all hype- He will have his chance to shine this year & I think he will have a solid season. He will be a top 5 pick. He just rebounds too well & can play solid defense. Plus the potential is there.
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? (better not say the Vikings)- I have to say the Patriots even though I hate that team ha. They just dont have a weakness. Plus Brady & Moss are unstoppable.
Best player in the NFL- It is hard to compare different positions. This guy isn’t the best but he is an excellent running back…Chris Johnson for the Titans is FAST. Watch him this year….defenses cannot stop him.
I love the NFL or College Football and I’ll take on most any argument in either
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:51pm #203191
QHaynes20True but Pryor runs a 4.3 man, I think he goes 1st overall in the 2011 draft.
Also, Yea we will see. If Pryor kills he can beat USC

crazyknicksfanParticipantAmare Stoudemire: Overrated or not -no
Derrick Rose: Future of NBA pg’s or above average starter-future

Thunder: Playoffs or not-yes not this year though
2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best)-2010
Demar Derozan: Will he be great?-in the future but not now
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out?-eventually yes.only if he gets enough plaing time
Ed Davis: Top 5 pick or all hype-top 5
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? (better not say the Vikings)Giants,Steelers,Atlanta

HaleParticipantWould just like to get users opinions on these things. Just answer a few and say why, I don’t want just a list of answers with no explanation.
Amare Stoudemire: Overrated or not. Not, Gatorheels said everything here.
Derrick Rose: Future of NBA pg’s or above average starter. He is the future, he will be an amazing player and one of the best players in the NBA for 10+ years.
John Wall: Superstar or bust (which do you think is more likely). Superstar, more out of control Rose. Less polish.
Thunder: Playoffs or not. 2010
2007,2008 or 2010 draft class (which will be the best). 2008, Like Q said, could be 6+ superstars in this class.
Demar Derozan: Will he be great? I hope so but I will say he gets pretty good.
Tyrus Thomas: Set to break out? Yes, he will get more minutes and his jumper is better plus his D is great.
Ed Davis: Top 5 pick or all hype. Top 5 pick, he is a great prospect.
Going out of NBA too…
Who will win the Super Bowl? (better not say the Vikings) I’ll go and say the Eagles
Best player in the NFL: Peyton Manning or AP
I love the NFL or College Football and I’ll take on most any argument in either
EDIT: few more
USC: How will they do? I think they are loaded again. Rose Bowl 11-2 or 12-1
Heisman: Bradford, Tebow, McCoy, other? Pryor, or at least I hope. Don’t sleep on Robert Griffin though.

Bryant24ParticipantYeah Robert Griffin sick but people dont know about him

QHaynes20I like the Robert Griffin pick.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:55pm #203198
HaleParticipantI guarantee he goes 1st in whatever draft he enters. He is a franchise changer and will not only be the best player in college football but has tons of potential. (He started playing football as a junior in HS, the next year he was ranked 1st in the nation and a 5 star basketball prospect 3rd sf in the nation).
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 3:57pm #203200
QHaynes20Pryor reminds me of Vince Young with Heart.
I remember seeing him cry after he threw a INT vs Penn State. He will be a stud in the NFL
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:00pm #203205
JNixonParticipantIf he learns how to throw…right now he’s an athlete more than a QB
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:04pm #203206
HaleParticipantI think he is a rich version of VInce Young, he probably won’t be the stud Vince was in college but he will be in the NFL. 6’6 240 runs a 4.3 and has a cannon (reported 70+ yard arm strength). He is the Lebron of football.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:16pm #203214
Bryant24Participantyea he can throw just has no accuarcy once he get that accuracy he goin to be a beast he underrated everbody look at tim tebow and forget about terell pryor
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:24pm #203222
llperezAmare overrated?… yes, his defense really is that bad
Derrick Rose future of pg’s? …yes. I think he will be great, and possibly best pg in game in a few years.
John Wall?…I really don’t know much about any highschool players.
Thunder in playoffs?…no, just too many good teams in west.
2007, 2008, or 2010 draft class?…I’ll go with 2008, although i don’t know much about 2010 yet.
Demar Derozan?…I think he will be very solid, similar to a Richard Jefferson.
Tyrus Thomas break out?…no, he just does’nt do any one thing that is particulary great other then being athletic.
Ed Davis?…don’t know
superbowl?…Raiders, why, becuase I’m a believer in miracles
Best player in NFL?…Amande Ashmougha (sp check?)
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:29pm #203233
HaleParticipantHahaha the Raiders, I love it. I don’t know how to spell his name either but he is a corner and he is a beast.

cashmherecfParticipantSTAT is not overatted i just think that he has never been that healthy to prove it. Plus he is in the western confrence
Derrick Rose is apart of the nba future point guards but there will be alot more with equal talent/hype in years to come
John Wall will be the real deal. Just depends where he will go
The Thunder wont make the playoffs this year but when boozer leaves and Phoenix rebuilds will open up a playoff spot in a few years
2008 – More star studed. I would say 2010 but after free agency spots for franchise players will be slim
Demar Derozen probably will be great but not in toranto
Tryrus Thomas will break out, just defensively and prob earn 2nd team defense honors in a few years
Ed Davis is hype. Lets see how he will do as a starter
Superbowl winner will be either the Pats or the Colts. Maybe Philly or Pitt
Offensively its Adrian Peterson. Defensively Ed Reed.
USC will win the rose bowl with an 12-1/11-2 record
And the Heisman will come down to Tebow or Dez Bryant from OSU
