A former Detroit Piston has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend’s brother after a cookout in Maryland. Oliver J. Miller, who played for the Pistons and Phoenix Suns among other teams in the 1990s, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and carrying a handgun Tuesday in court in Anne Arundel County. Miller played 64 games for the Pistons in 1994-95, averaging 8.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Detroit Free Press

Self +1’ing. 1 view. +1. Have noticed this a lot. Hate calling you out red handed, but I find this practice incredibly lame. So, if you could stop, I would be appreciative. If you have something to say that is well thought out, funny or intelligent, than, people will give you credit. But, giving your own post a +1 is liking patting yourself on the back, which is not a practice one should get into.

Stranger still you would give this story a +1. Oliver Miller just plead guilty to assault. Same county as you though, good stuff.

I think everyone is missing the point here.  Doesn’t anyone else see the hilarity in Oliver Miller getting arrested at a cookout?  So many possible jokes are available but you are all whinging about points.  For shame.

 I really liked Oliver Miller’s game. It was kind of mediocre overall, but he was just this fat guy with super long arms and some sweet passing. He was fun to watch because he was always battling guys who were much taller than him and much more cut and he could still ball. Not like as an NBA star but at least as an NBA contributor. And this guy was FAT and short for a center.
