Durant cant post up
The thing is having a post up 4/5 man will create a double team which leads to a kick out to Westbrook who will be open which leads to penetration which allows either a drive and kick to Harden or Durant or a dump down to Perkinsor Ibaka whoevers out their with the offensive post threat
They will have a little less than 9mil in cap room with 50mil on the books after Perks extension so a guy they could throw a nice offer at is Nene they could rotate start with Nene and Perk and bring in Ibaka for energy and the finish the game with Nene and Ibaka/Perk whoever is need more like against Dwight Perki is more of an asset but against LA with Gasol and Odom finishing games Nene and Ibaka are a better match up

Charlie SheenParticipantHis salary is still part of his rookie wage thats why he hasnt got an extension yet because it takes effect during the next CBA which has been estbalished yet dont you think Chicago would’ve maxed out Rose by now the only expensive guys will be Durant and Perkins who will be in the 1st years of their extensions

omphalosParticipantIbaka can be the post-guy, he just needs to make it a focus in the off-season; he worked on jump-shooting and is much improved this year, give him time to be a low-post scorer.

NbanflguyParticipantNo i think their problem is that on 4 straight possesions at the end of the game, Westbrook didnt even look to pass. 4 Straight times he dribbled around and threw up a wild shot and missed 4 times.

omphalosParticipantUntil OKC starts getting blown out, you can’t blame the lack of a post-up player, as closing has always been a perimeter player’s game. With the talents of Durant and Westbrook, Thunder should be able to win close games, but as has been said, poor decision-making is hurting them.
