OKC to work out Rawle Adkins before the combine

Who is he? What does he bring? Who does he remind you of?

Well I personally believe he

Well I personally believe he should stay in school to develop his game further and become a dominant player at the college level but theres no doubt in my mind he is a 1st round pick whenever he comes out even if thats this year. He has an NBA ready body, decent length and athletisism, a willingness to attack the rim that you cant teach and alot of untapped scoring abillity that was hidden behind Zonas depth and eventually Trier. He may even get picked before Trier. He should be able to compete with Bacon, Trier, Mitchell, Kennard, Ferguson etc. with SG draft position.

He should def. go back to

He should def. go back to school at this point. Right now his calling card is on the defensive end where his strength, lateral quickness, and athleticism help him to be a good on ball defender. He is also a good rebounder for a wing and gets his share of weakside blocks. Going back to school would allow him to show more of his offensive game as he is a capable shooter and slasher and he could also work on his PG skills because with his lack of height and length he is really too small to play the wing and would have to be more of a combo guard. He should be able to showcase his offensive abilities in the more spread out game of the NBA because he thrives in the open court although he will need to improve his range on his jumper to be a true 3 and D threat.

In terms of an NBA comparison I would say Gerald Henderson.

Yea I personally don't see

Yea I personally don't see those comparisons. He is a much better defender than Lance and has a different type of game only similarity is body size both being smaller thicker guards.

Alkins is a sleeper on most

Alkins is a sleeper on most "fans" boards stayed under the radarplaying behind veteran offensive players in AZ. He is still raw defensively, otherwise would be a lottery pick imo.

Most of his issues on defense are being too aggressive, rather than taking off plays.

Decent option for OKC if Justin Jackson (north carolina)or one of the other few sf options available in the first round valued range are already gone.

He could be taken as high as 16 to the Bulls on my board.

Fire and strength reminds me of Waiters a little bit. But has better speed.

Would fit in there well as the 1st guard off the bench solid shooting mechanics and work ethic.

Shabaz Muhamadd level explosiveness.

no surprise OKC looking for an under the radar upgrade.

(has a higher ceiling than Oladipo as a shooter/ scorer)

Lance is probably my most

Lance is probably my most favorite comparison. Tyreke actually plays some.of his best ball as a PG, Lance like Rawle I'd just more of a ballhandling 2 who uses length/strength/and lateral movement(not quickness) to defend his man.

The main knock on him is a

The main knock on him is a low bb iq. needs to be coached up as a team player.

his iso game is solid.

I think the skillset is there, he is just an extreme competitor and he needs vets around him to keep him in check instead of making dumb decisions and stopping the ball.

I think he will be the better shooting version of marcus smart on a badly coached roster, Or a 6th man of the year candidate in 5 years on a well coached roster.

Watch the spurs draft him and turn him into an allstar
