Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantChicago’s energy reminds me of game 1 but Miami’s passing is a lot better.

DanEboyParticipantBulls by 12…going away…after Wade and Bron are flat out gassed again.

OhCanada-ParticipantHaslems first 10 seconds on the court and he gets dunked on. I expect hm to lead this team though. If Haslem is healthy Miami could turn into a whole new monster, should be scary.

DanEboyParticipantAgain, there is Noah with a sick pass to Boozer from the top of the key…..then a steal, running the fastbreak and finishing at the rim.
BothTeamsPlayedHard…….calling you out again. He is not ‘easily’ replaceable. That is a joke.
And the Bulls DO have the best bench in the league.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAm I the only one who thinks the Heat look overmatched?
This is honestly a perfect matchup for the Bulls’ defense… The Heat love to play hero ball and that plays right into this defenses hands.
Luol Deng is outplaying LeBron and at both ends. The Bulls offense is getting whatever it wants… Just not making shots.
LeBron had a nice dunk, but he looks heavy/tired. He didn’t get up that high and missed an alley oop earlier. The defense clearly has the scouting report on LeBron… Crowd him and make him force decisions. It’s working.
Anyone who tries to diminish Joakim Noah’s value (BothTeamsPlayedHard), just doesn’t have a full deck of cards. He blocked the shot… Ran the fast break… Gave the ball up perfectly for the give and go… And then finished in traffic with the left. Are you kidding me?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:15pm #533033
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe main reason the Heat are struggling is because nobody is moving without the ball. I’m talking about nobody on the bench, not LeBron, not Wade, not Bibby. The only guys I see moving without the ball are Chris Bosh (and he’s gotten a couple of open mid range shots) and Joel Anthony (he moves around down low trying to get good offensive rebounding position). Other than those two, nobody moves without the ball.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:16pm #533034
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIs it just me or are they calling TOO many fouls for both teams?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:21pm #533037
IndianaBasketballParticipantThe refs have been calling some garbage fouls. The Heat are already in the bonus…
This Bulls defense is choking the Heat. I don’t mean the quick type of choke… I mean, the Ike choking Tina type of choke until you pass out.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:27pm #533040
DanEboyParticipantBulls are moving the ball very well and swarming again. They are probablt the best 2nd half team in the league because of their depth…..this could get ugly again.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:32pm #533042
DanEboyParticipant - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:38pm #533048
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI think the Heat took some control now
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:41pm #533049
IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Bulls are getting great shots on offense… Just not making them. Rose has past up a few shots in my opinion for more difficult ones. I think he needs to attack Bibby in the second half.
And the defense was incredible until the refs put them in the bonus three minutes into the quarter…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:43pm #533050
DanEboyParticipantThe refs need to take a backseat in this one. Calling ticky tack fouls on both sides.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:47pm #533051
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI agree with Dan. Cheap fouls for both teams on both ends.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 3:53pm #533053
omphalosParticipantYep, refs are bailing out the Heat a little bit so far, that foul on Bibby was weak, it’s the playoffs ffs.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:03pm #533058
IndianaBasketballParticipantTIcky tack foul #1 on Bogans…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:07pm #533060
DanEboyParticipantBoozer is such a bitc.h
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:12pm #533063
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWhat’s up with Boozer not taking those open midrange shots?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:16pm #533065
DanEboyParticipantMan, the shots are just not falling for the Bulls.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:16pm #533067
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnother ticky tack foul, this time on LeBron.
And that pick was clean by Joel, it’s not his fault Boozer didn’t call it out so Bogans was decked.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:17pm #533068
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThat dunk made me jump outta my seat..!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:18pm #533069
Chilbert arenasParticipantKorver is driving me nuts on offensive end, he’s on the floor for one purpose and can’t seem to do it with any consistency, but I will give him credit for getting after it on the defensive side of the ball, not that he’s locking anyone down but he’s busting his ass.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:18pm #533070
IndianaBasketballParticipantRose is struggling
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:18pm #533071
DanEboyParticipantFor the conspiracy theorists out there, game 1 was the most watched game in the history of the NBA at 11.1 million viewers.
Lots of money in this series.

I May Be WrongParticipantHaslem is making up for lost time! Move over Joel Anthony, Haslem is getting that MVP spot for tonite lol

0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:28pm #533080
marcusfizer21ParticipantBulls can’t hit their freakin shots… No matter how tough the D is, if they can’t get it going on their offense, they’re in trouble…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:29pm #533083
marcusfizer21ParticipantGo DRose… He’s getting aggressive now!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:29pm #533084
BKKnicksfanParticipantHaslem is giving them another hustle cat. Good for them.
Also, with Haslem, James and Wade on those breaks….Miami will get alot of free throws and some extra rebounds in the next couple games

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHaslem is gunna be sore tomorrow.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:30pm #533088
IndianaBasketballParticipantLeBron one on one isolation versus Asik and he settles for a step back three? I don’t get him sometimes…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:31pm #533089
DanEboyParticipantLeBron standing there…pointing and holding the ball…just to brick a 3.
What a clown.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:32pm #533090
marcusfizer21Participantother than Haslem, are there any other player in that Miami bench… helllooooooooo! Wake up Heat! Your Big 2.5 are working and Haslem is doing his part but I just don’t see anyone inserting any effort on both ends of the floor…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:34pm #533092
BKKnicksfanParticipantHaslem played 18 min, he will be alright.
The Heat are attacking, but Chicago isn’t letting the pace go too fast. When they allowed that to happen, Miami attacked every time.
Also, Indiana…. sometimes players do that. Wade, Durant, Westbrook, Dirk even Kobe, too much faith in the jumper sometimes.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:35pm #533094
DanEboyParticipantHaslem has been a beast this game. Hope he tires out….

great asik block on wade!0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 4:55pm #533122
OhCanada-ParticipantDamn Asik is playing great defense. A large part of why Wade is not getting his easy layups. All the Superstars are struggling, and most of the stars. Defensive grudge match right here and I love it.
Spoelstra give Haslem a rest alreadyy!!!

0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:00pm #533131
billykParticipantRose looks tired… Noah sure looks like he can be replaced by Asik… MIA defense is wearing Rose out..
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:02pm #533132
marcusfizer21Participantthey keep on settling for jumpshots… not attacking the basket… Bulls SHOULD capitalize on every missed shots by the Heat… Deng is pathetic in his offense… I want to see Rose take the burden of the offense now… Their team is invisible…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:02pm #533133
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWade’s fresh legs are putting pressure on Rose on the defensive end.

marcusfizer21ParticipantRose is struggling… goddamnnnit.. game 3 is gonna be hard and This has to make some adjustments right now… Luol Deng needs a lesson in taking jumpshots so is Korver… They SHOULD HAVE BEEN up 2-0 if their shots were falling…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:09pm #533147
torukParticipantIt`s better for the bulls that rose take his TALENTS to south beach in game 3 and 4 because this game is OVER!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:10pm #533148
IndianaBasketballParticipantYou Heat fans are funny… Y’all wasn’t nowhere to be found during game one.
At least the Bulls fans are talking whether the Bulls win or lose.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:11pm #533149
DanEboyParticipantWell, the Bulls played absolutely horribe tonight, especially missing 10 free throws…yet still were in it until the last 2 minutes.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:11pm #533150
BKKnicksfanParticipantAre any of you Bulls fans gonna make a "Bulls in the Heat" post tonight? I really wanna read one.

0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:14pm #533155
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI’m not a Bulls or Heat fan.. but I think they can make one named…
Boston Janitors Raid N.Y.
It’s a nice little story about how Boston swept N.Y.

BKKnicksfanParticipantHey BK…..how are the Knicks doing?
Awww…..you mad?

DanEboyParticipantAwww…..you mad?
Never mad my good friend.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:18pm #533158
BKKnicksfanParticipantToungeout….your team was just on TV last night looking at ping pong balls. We can do a post about that. Hell, if you want, I can give 1500 words on why Houston is in no man’s land in the West, but we won’t go that far. YOU DON’T WANT THAT.
Anyway, I picked the Heat, ya’ll tried to tell me the bench was all that, I didn’t see it tonight. Haslem steped up, Miami won.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:19pm #533159
BKKnicksfanParticipant@DanEboy
I wasn’t coming at you, I just see it as a momentum swing. I respect the fact you brought up my Knicks though. I have to take the uppercut in stride bro
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:20pm #533160
IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Heat played great defense in the fourth and LeBron did his thing down the stretch, but I’ll tell you what I seen tonight…
I saw a Heat team get shut down in the first half and get bailed out by free-throws in the second quarter. They should’ve been down double figure points and that was with the Bulls struggling offensively.
I saw a Bulls team struggle to make shots… Shots they normally make. Saw Rose struggle to make shots he could make in his sleep… Yet they still had a chance to win this game.
Can the Heat rely on Haslem, the player of the game, to give them what he gave them tonight next game? Because they surely need him.
This is going to be a long series. The Bulls are clearly capable of winning in Miami. And Derrick Rose has been known to have great bounce back games as well.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:20pm #533161
DanEboyParticipantThe Bulls bench played good…it was the starters who stunk it up.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:20pm #533162
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHey BK
Did you know the Rockets had the same amount of playoff wins this year?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:24pm #533163
BKKnicksfanParticipantThe Heat out rebounded them too. Alot of things will sway in this series. I’ll tell you this, Chicago HAS to take Game 3. Not game 4, because I don’t think a young team like that can do that with all that pressure. Take HCA back in game 3.
Tounge out, it’s all good though. When the playoffs promo started, I didn’t see Scola, or Martin. I did see Melo and Stoudemire. Ya’ll need to worry about Yao Ming before you guys can talk playoffs man. Little by little man. Little by little.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:26pm #533165
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLmao, a Knicks fan talking about playoffs like they’ve been in the playoffs year after year. It’s cool. You’ve waited enough.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 5:30pm #533168
BKKnicksfanParticipantLmao, a Knicks fan talking about playoffs like they’ve been in the playoffs year after year. It’s cool. You’ve waited enough.
Was I really, or did I just say where’s the man who was talking about the Bulls in Heat? Come on son, I understand this is your thing, calling people out for no real reason, but I’m not that dude man. I’m not gonna call you names, I’m not gonna go E-Thug on you, I’m just gonna tell you nicely to hop off.
The worst part? Wasn’t even talking to you. DanEboy commented in protection of his team, you commented because you could resist riding me. I respect that. In fact, I’m gonna give you some positives….good job.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 6:23pm #533192
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAww… U mad?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 8:26pm #533235
BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantHmmm… Game 1, LeBron and Wade struggled and the Heat looked overmatched, the Bulls had great depth, and the mercenaries who signed with Chicago were better because their one-year together was more meaningful than that of Miami. In Game 2, Derrick Rose struggled and the Bulls offense was deplorable. This must come as a shocker to some seeing as how the chemistry was so good and the bench so deep, but it shouldn’t be. The Bulls need Rose to be the best player on the floor. They are dependent on their star being able to carry the load just like Miami is dependent on LeBron and Wade.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 8:35pm #533237
DanEboyParticipantRose had an abysmal game going 7-23 FG 0-3 3’s 7-10 FT. And yet the game was still tied with about 2 minutes to go. They didn’t need Rose to be the best player on the court tonight, they just needed to hit their damn free throws. 16-26 won’t cut it. They lost as a ‘team’ tonight, not just because of Rose.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/18/2011 - 9:55pm #533250
OhCanada-ParticipantVery nice to see Lebron perform in the clutch. When he performs like that it leaves no wonder as to who the best player in the league is.Rose’s jumper looke flat and his athletisism looked like it wasnt at 100%. He missed runners he usually makes and was not quite an emotional leader for this team. Haslem maybe the final piece to the puzzle for Miami, his lack of size never stopped him from being successful before.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThe Bulls scored 2 points in the final seven minutes of the game, a period in which LeBron and Wade scored the Heat’s final 11. They needed Rose to score because they could not go anywhere else. Boozer was not in the game, so the frontcourt was a nonthreat. Deng had a bad game, and even when he is going well he can’t create. They tried to get Korver some looks but they didn’t fall either. The teams playing this deep can’t be like last year’s Lakers where they can survive Kobe going 6-24 in Game 7. They can’t have Ray Allen go through that drought he had in 2008 and still win. These teams don’t have that kind of talent.

omphalosParticipantI disagree with Thibs keeping Boozer out to close the game, they were defending pretty well, it was their inability to score which killed them.
Rose definitely looked extremely flat tonight, barely had the legs to get past Bibby, he needs a break after that 6 game Atlanta series when he was chasing around Jeff Teague, keep in mind he’s never played this far into the season and how much he had to do, I can see the Bulls stealing one on the road to get back home-court advantage, but Miami’s D stifles Chicago’s scoring better than Chicago stifles Miami’s scoring. Unfortunately, Heat will probably win this series. Let’s just hope they meet their match in either Dallas or OKC.

KayjayParticipantNo doubt about Haslem, we all just forgot about him because he was hurt. But Haslem adds to miami’s depth. Because lets be real here, with out Haslem Miami has mostly just shooters on the bench that are inconsistent. Haslem changes that up.
Btw, Lebron had a cold last night. js
