bflaa2ParticipantWho would be the most interesting place for Blake Griffin to go? Provided the pick can go to anyone in the top 14 but cant be traded out of the top 14.

kamikazeParticipantIF Kings get #1 Pick, Toronto trades Bosh for the pick, and drafts Griffin……

Killer_kat12345ParticipantBrian Colangelo isnt gonna trade bosh…
Firstly because he will wait to see what offers come thru the summer…
But mainly Bosh is very involved in the city of Toronto… he Loves the city and the fans… and with a good head on his shoulders he won’t make a rash decision without seeing how this year plays out… and based on how the team plays, and who will be the new faces… he will then decide if he wants to leave…
people need to realize that the teams involved in trades need to talk to the players and their agents… they have quite a say in the matter too

butidonthavemoneyToronto would have to throw in Calderon for that deal to work.
OKC would be a great fit for Griffen.

TocaneParticipantWith recent history, I wouldn’t be surprised to see OKC get #1 pick. It looks rigged to be honest.

kamikazeParticipantok, first off im reportin from Toronto….i know how great Bosh is….for the community and on the court as a team leader….but the Toronto fans dont like the talk of how most likely he’ll leave in 2010….and if Toronto gets nothin in return, that really sucks….its not sure if Bosh will stay…..so instead of depending on Bosh and his decision, why not Colangelo take matters into his own hands and make the decision for him…….but if there is trade to be made for him, Colangelo knows the Raps have to get someone equally good…..Griffin is the only guy i could think off…..
and yo about the Calderon thing, no….no way……already Bosh’s contract is close to 15mil…..if i remember correctly, Calderon gets 9……its really a one for one move……the Kings arent gonna take all that financial commitments….
now i jus read that wizards are willin to give up their pick and an unconfirmed player for Amare…..that unconfirmed player would have to be one of their three all-stars……i figure why not Bosh for their pick (if its the #1 pick they can get Griffin) and Caron Butler……in regards to financial commitments and cap space, it works for the wizards……jamison and Bosh will work…..if they want, Wizards could sign Ariza in the offseason……as for Toronto, they dont have to deal with a sign and trade for Marion anymore, still have their top ten pick, and also enough money to sign a10-12 mil season guy like Ben Gordan…..

Lemons4LifeParticipantWhat the heck would happen if NYC got the #1 pick. What would they do?……..TRADE! Who would they trade for though?

ch15r36isParticipantWhy would the Knicks trade it? I’d think they could use Blake Griff or Rick Rubio as much as anyone else. Imagine all the conspiracy theorists if that were to go down, though…
I certainly don’t think the NBA is rigged per se, and I think it would be quite hard for them to pull off rigging the lottery(especially when you consider the massive economic consequences it can have on a team and a city: Lebron James)…although it is fun to speculate on, and I’m sure certain matters do get a little influence from the top brass (aka Mr. Stern).0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/15/2009 - 1:09pm #150422
rvirsalParticipantkings have thompson, wiz have jamison, wolves have al jeff and love, clips have randolph, hence, he’d have to come off the bench in favor of these guys. but in memphis or okc, he’d be able to start immediately and make an impact starting at his debut game.
