This site comps him with Mashburn and Tisdale. Espn Comps him to Chris Bosh. Now all I ask is if everyone thinks he’s going to be multiple all star and around a 18ppg and 9reb guy.  (Took Avgs of all three comps)

Why isn’t any of these site’s willing to put him at the 3rd or 4th in the top 100. Everyone still has him around 7-8.

Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, and even Exum have a projected higher ceiling. It’s nothing more than this draft being deep and having some great potential towards the top. I want to see Vonleh end up in Sac-town anyways, I think he’d be a perfect fit next to Cousins.

 I was thinking he would be perfect in Sac-Town also, He would be what Thomas Robinson wasn’t a defensive standout, with a good shooting touch and a good rebounder.  I think he is seen more as 5-6.   Wiggins, Parker, and Embiid are all higher than him obviously.  Then Exum is seen as the fourth best prospect I think.  Then 5-6 is between Randle and Vonleh depending on fit and what a team needs IMO.

 Someone is going to reach for him.  I don’t think he will fall to 6 or 7.  I think he will really show out in a work out setting due to his shooting, length and athleticism, even his ball handling and I think someone will reach for him at 4.  Depending how Embiid’s back checks out he could be the first big man off the board….. I won’t rule that out.

 I am really high on Vonleh. Many people did not expect him to make much of an impact in his first year in college. He technically could have been a part of the 2014 high school class. He led IU in rebounding in just over 25 minutes per game, and around 11 points with hardly any sets ran for him. I think he has all the tools to be an All-Star in the NBA. He has outstanding length, above average athleticism, and great size at around 6"10/240, while being able to comfortably put on weight. I really like the Chris Bosh comparison. I think Vonleh will be able to develop a face-up game similar to Bosh’s. Though on limited attempts, he made almost 50% of his threes this year, and shot over 70% from the stripe. He’s still raw, but I think Vonleh has a very bright future.

 I think that he has a much better future as a post scorer than Harrington.  Al ended up just camping out at the 3 point line WAY to early in his career.  I actually like the Mashburn comparison, although it’s Mashburn with a little more length (although Jamal was a very advanced scorer, which is asking a lot from Vonleh, who is FAR from that advanced offensively).  I think he’s going to be good.  Really, really, good.  Plus, as has been mentioned before, I think that there is a pretty high floor for Noah Vonleh.  Worst case scenario, he is an above average defender, superior defender, and more than just an opportunity scorer..

it depends on what you’re getting at with the comparison.  If you’re comparing him to a guy who he could potentially be, then I think the Bosh comparison is fair.  I think Bosh was a little bit further along offensively than Vonleh is right now.  Bosh was a 22 PPG scorer in his third year in the league, and I’m not sure I see Vonleh doing that.  Although I do think Vonleh is better on the glass and defensively.  As far as a current comparison goes for Vonleh, I have no clue.

Boston has guys like Sullinger and Olynk that have trouble protecting the rim, so I think in their system he could be that rim protector / hybrid center type. He’s obviously not a true center, but I think he fits the Celtics real well if they don’t have a chance to take the top 4 guys.
