I noticed this guy is not to be found anywhere on either the 2011 or 2012 mocks. I think Aran is sleeping on this guy. He is a legit 6-10 big man with skills. Im not saying where he should go in the draft, but he is defenitely a prospect.

He was the pac 10’s most improved player last year averaging 11ppg and 9.4rpg. This year he has improved yet agin averaging 16ppg and 10rpg. Just last week he dropped 28 on the washington huskies and had washington coach lorenzo romar calling him a certain nba player. Tonight he dropped 20 on my bruins. He is a very skiled big. He has great post moves and can use either hand. He has hit 13 threes on the season and his stroke is very sound out there to the point where i think he will become a very consistent perimter threat. But he does most his work down low and is a very sound defender as well. I really dont see one seroious weakness in his game. He is a complete player. He has a chance to be all pac 10 first team this year and skilled 6-10 guys usually get some recognition from the scouts.

I forget who I saw this kid play against, but I definitely agree he has some NBA potential.  He was hitting plenty of jumpers in the game and you could tell he had a lot of confidence with his jumper.

he took two left handed hooks tonight that just rimmed out. He was using up and unders and drop steps. He can run the court. He can step outside. He has a very polished game for a college big man He had 24 points in USC’s biggest win of the season against Texas a few weeks ago. He can use to add some muscle but how many college players cant.

I’ve been slighty intrigued. Reminds me of my boy Slava with brains.

I am a much bigger fan of Vucevic than most. USC plays at as slow a pace as any major program in the country, and the fewer possessions in the game prevents anyone from having an overly impressive stat line. When considering how slow the Trojans play, Vucevic’s 16 points and 10 rebounds per game is solid. He has range out to the arc, the ability to move his feet well defensively, and is both long enough and athletic enough to block shots. He has the look of someone who is soft (most because looks like a choir boy), but doesn’t play that way. I certainly don’t have a good sense for why anyone would say he isn’t an NBA prospect.

I remember reading a rumor at the start of the year that he was likely to leave after this season whether it was for the NBA or Europe.

Oh, and unlike Slava he will pass the ball. Make no mistake, Slava get ball… Slava shoot ball.

From The Last Season: A Team In Search of Its Soul

This afternoon I did something I almost never do. When Shaquille and Rick [Fox] stepped off the bus at our hotel in Coconut Grove, an upscale Miami suburb, I asked them to enter my suite for a brief chat. From the puzzled expressions on their faces, I could tell they were extremely curious, perhaps alarmed. I believe the time on the road between practice and the tip-off is almost sacred; the players should be allowed to prepare in their own ways for the challenge awaiting them. But this time I was facing my own challenge, and it had nothing to do with the Miami Heat. Recognizing that my relationship with Kobe was becoming more acrimonious by the day, I decided that a conversation with Shaq and Fox could not wait any longer. At practice the day before Kobe, who told [trainer Gary] Vitti that his finger hadn’t healed sufficiently for him to play in the Miami game, was taking a few shots left-handed when I asked him not to be a distraction. I needed to work with the players who would be suiting up. "Distraction," he said, mockingly, unable to resist taking one more shot. A few hours later, during dinner in Key Biscayne with the staff, Vitti told us that Kobe has been threatening again to opt out of his contract, vowing "to take Slava [Medvedenko] with me." Slava? Was this an indication of Kobe’s being totally out of touch with reality? If Kobe was interested in taking along a player who would defer to him, Slava Medvedenko was the worst choice imaginable. He hasn’t passed up a shot since November.
