If anybody saw the game on NBA TV last night, Nick Young was scoring at will! The coach was even running plays for him, and he was shooting LIGHTS OUT!!! Last night, he scored 21 points on 8-15 shooting and basically all of those points coming in the second half. Him and Gil were the reasons why the Wizards came back and almost beat Orlando.

The issue with Nick over the years was cosistency, but he has been consistent all year so far. He has had 5 games of 20+ so far this season coming off the bench. Many thouht that he was going to be stuck on the bench this year, but with injuries, he had the opprotunity t get a lot of PT and he isn’t lookig back. Before, he was also known as a bad defender, but this season, he has been playing good & intense D. Coach Flip Saunders has made a number of good remarks about Nick’s D this season.

Why don’t you guys jump back on the "Nick Young bandwagon"? jk, jk. Anyway, do you guys still have hope in him becoming a really good player?

Always liked Nick Youngs game the guy can shoot it and is super athletic.  Reminds me or JR Smith for obvious reasons and at best could contribute the way JR has done for Denver during his best times.

If Nick Young played for the Knicks I think he could averaged 17 points a game for the season.

He’s still a bad defender and lacks focus/awareness at the end… Mainly on off of the ball defense and rotations. And he still hasn’t seen a shot he doesn’t like.

He’s capable of getting hot and having big offensive games though. I don’t think he’ll ever be much more than a scoring punch off of the bench.

I wish he would play with more focus and energy. But it seems he doesn’t even care. He would be the perfect starting 2 guard for the Jazz, but he just doesn’t seem to care, therefore I’d rather the Jazz go for Wilson Chandler. He has a lot of talent, but the energy and focus just isn’t there. And I don’t think he has been that consistent this year. Some games, players just get hot and play very well, the good players though do this much more consistently, sometimes even for 2 weeks straight. If Nick Young came to Utah, he would be just another CJ Miles, and he might even be worse.
