     Nic Claxton has officially been invited to the green room. Yikes. I had him as one of my first off the board in the second, but now I need to reevaluate. Where do you guys think he fits in the 1st? I’m at a loss….

    i have read that atlanta may be one of the teams.  he shut down workouts on same day he worked out with atlanta.

       That’s a top 20 pick, then. Wow. He must have really impressed if that’s the case. Thanks for the info. I’m trying to figure where to slot him. Right now I’ve moved him the Spurs at 29 so he can develop under Pop and LaMarcus.

        i just read a SI mock draft that had claxton at 20 for similar reasons.  that article’s mock had a lot of similarities to my mock.  most of my info is from the forums here, hoopshype and espn+ articles.  this draft is very confusing to say the least…guys like herro, bazley, okpala, claxton are all over the map it seems.  think keldon shut down workouts past 15 too…

    Every postive that can be said of Jaxson Hayes can be said of Nic Claxton. Same size and athleticism. The difference is that Claxton has more ability than to just live off the land (dump-offs, alley oops, etc). He had to play out on the perimeter, and considering the limitations around him did reasonably well. He can create off the dribble. His shot is a work in progress, but fares well on a grading curve for 7-foot 20-year olds.  Obviously, he is not the finished product, but relative to this draft class, there is a ton to like. I do not understand how there can be a consensus that Jaxson Hayes has lottery ability and not Claxton, other than the power of group think.

      this is true.  i think i’d take claxton at 17 over hayes at 10.  not sure i understand hype on hayes and i’m a UT fan.

         Yeah I dont dislike the guy but I dont like how all the mocks have atlanta taking him at 10. I am hoping that is not the route we go.

     I have Claxton really high.

    But I went with UPSIDE over anything.

    His "upside" shows hints of Greek Freak or KD.
