surveParticipantI am currently watching the Heat vs Bobcats.
The Bobcats starting lineup is almost certainly going to change soon. Love Kemba. Bismack is lightning quick off his feet as a shot-blocker.
Norris Cole playing with great confidence. This will be huge in the postseason having two really good PG’s in him and Chalmers. Announcer noted that Cole was all-state HS basketball, football, and baseball player. Eventually focused on basketball, eventhough it wasnt his favorite of the three.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 2:19pm #620416
aamir543ParticipantCole is really a great find for the Heat. His speed and ability to turn a made basket into a one man fast break is mazing. It’s either Cole is really good, or Charlotte is just really bad, lol.
But he really has played well all around, and most of us are only thinking about this season, but what about for the future. The Heat will be tied financially and will have little to no picks. if Cole can become a legit starting guard, that can give you 17 and 6, this Heat team will be really dangerous in the future.

OhCanada-ParticipantRaptors at Magic
Bargnani is dominating and8 of his 9 FGs have been in the paint. NBATV was giving a halftime checkup on this game and said they were surprised Bargnani is dominating his matchup with Howard. Bargnani and Howard have not been matched up once in this game. Those guys are out to lunch.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLmao @ Dirk throwing Rubio on the floor.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 2:58pm #620444
Scottoant93ParticipantWhat do you think of the new Bargnani the reason i ask is when i made a thread about why raps hate him a while back you replied "then why doesn’t your team trade for him and then find out why we hate him" or something along those lines. Hows DD coming along?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:02pm #620446
j1232eParticipantI wonder if the bobcats will ever be good. They will be the worst team this year.

Krypt14ParticipantRondo with the triple double. He’s ballin this year!
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:27pm #620463
Scottoant93Participantwow anyone watching the raps magic game so horrible calls against the raps
also raps give the f@cking ball to bargs and stop taking contested 3 points that have no chance of going in. Thats the reason you are losing right now
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:27pm #620464
OhCanada-ParticipantBynum has 6-points 6-rebounds in 6-minutes. Hes coming for the throne this year.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:29pm #620465
IndianaBasketballParticipantBargnani had 25 at the end of the 3rd I think… Less than 3 mins left in the 4th and he only has 28.
Ryan Anderson is going to work… He’s shooting that trey ball w/ ease.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:29pm #620466
aamir543Participant^ I assume you’r talking about the jump ball call that was clearly a foul.
Ryan Anderson is boss! Bargnani knocked down a three too, how did the Magic regain the lead, it was a 15 point game?
Anyways, I really like the Magic now that Ryan Anderson has really emerged as a legit scoring threat. If Jameer Nelson can get it going, and Howard can establish hiself as the go-to option, they arfe in good shape.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:31pm #620467
OhCanada-ParticipantDont blame the refs, you should know by now its expected. Raps have to fight through it, thats how you earn calls in this league. I love the way this team is playing either way, and also expect Dwayne Casey to be around for a long time with the Raps.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:35pm #620469
IndianaBasketballParticipantJohn Wall almost had a triple double tonight too… Good to see he only had 1 turnover. Hopefully, this game is the game that gets him back on track.

j1232eParticipantmayo fell into zack randolphs knee. It doesn’t look good.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:43pm #620472
Krypt14ParticipantI’d like to see Rubio play more, would be a great matchup between him and Kidd
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:44pm #620475
IndianaBasketballParticipantMayo fell into Randolph’s right knee… He was able to limp off, so hopefully it’s not serious.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:46pm #620476
HaleParticipantRose starting off 0/5 but has 4 assists no turnovers and a couple FT’s.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 3:49pm #620479
IndianaBasketballParticipantRose seeing the floor A LOT better this year.
Another note on Randolph… I didn’t really see the knee twist or turn. I don’t think he tore anything. I think it’s just a sprain, bruise or tweak… Hyperextention possibly.

OhCanada-ParticipantSorry for not replying on your comemnt Ive been glued on a bunch of different games. Trust me watching Bargnani since he has been in the league has been like pulling teeth. It still is like pulling teeth watching his hhabits change. Bargnani is the most talented big man in the league offensively and he doesnt even know it. The things he can do offensively if he used his huge frame, wingspan, great footwork, amazing quicks and speed, along with his touch, playmaking abillities and whole package. Although he has never been confident in his abillities, and always shys away from contact. Even a couple times in this game he just left Howard alone and didnt contest layups, dunks, rebounds, and will defenitely get an earfull from Casey. Its as if once he believes he isnt goin to stop the offensive player from scoring or block the shot he quits. He needs to bang, the funny thing is he can bang. If he wanted too he could probally bang with Dwight, Bynum, and any other Center in the league he definitely has the size and strength for it he just has no will and toughness. The guy is a legit 7-foot 260 pounds. It gets so absolutely frustrating to watch him abuse these physical atrributes. Instead we settle for a soft perimeter player, who stands 7 foot tall and grabs 6-rebounds and 1-block a game with 20-points. he could be so much more, and the things he does wrong definitely overshadows the things he does right.
For example in this game down the stretch the Raps needed him to be a vocal leader and demand touches in good positions for him to score. It didnt happen, Raps lost a 12-point lead in 8-minutes. This is the second game in a row the Raps quit in the fourth qaurter. Just 5 more minutes of good basketball in each game and the Raps would have a winning record this year.
Bargnani may have scored 28-points with 7-rebounds in this game, but when 21-points and 5-rebounds came in the first half, and his team lost you know he has alot of room for improvement. 7-points and 2-rebounds in the second half…really?
I cant wait until Valanciunas gets here. I dont expect him to be an instant 20-10 guy or anything like that, even just a 8-ppg, 11-rpg, 2-bpg line would be a huge help. Valanciunas has great length, weakside help defense, size, and has been putting on wieght nicely. The best thing about him is he will always be fired up and vocal for our team.

Scottoant93ParticipantIts cool i figured you were probably watching diff games since you were talkin about them.
I know Bargs has a lot of flaws and as much a fan a am i know they exist. You can see this season he has improved, and will continue to improve as casey continues to hammer it into his head. There is a reason Casey talks big things about him and little for anyone else at least from what i read.
The thing that frustrates me is when people talk about bargs and his flaw and i fail to place blame to anyone else. Know i know hes suppossed to the leader and he should take all the blame, but according to almost every raps fan Derozen is the man, yet if you watch he play he does nothing besides score which if he struggles does little else. He is athletic, has a decent mid range game but jacks up some questionable shots(that 3 that he airballed). He should be driving to the rim constantly not settling, he has the same flaws bargs basically has yet no one ever talks about.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI get the feeling that Lamar Odom regrets getting too emotional and requesting a trade from the Lakers.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:32pm #620511
Scottoant93Participant^^^
Lamar odom stats look like a d league players
4.3ppg 4.30reb 13%fg 8.3% from 3 66%ft
Those numbers are horrible, this just might kill his career……alrightmaybe that last statement was a little harsh haha

surveParticipantI think Beasley may have broken his finger. Looks like he told one of the trainers that he could "see the bone"
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:40pm #620519
IndianaBasketballParticipantFor the second game in a row, Andrew Bynum looking dominate vs Denver and clearly has an advantage downlow.
Kobe 2-14, second game in a row not shooting well vs Denver… Kobe needs to open his eyes, stop shooting and ride Bynum to this victory.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:45pm #620530
Scottoant93ParticipantSpeaking of the Denver Nuggets, WTH Gallo I thought you were supposed to have a breakout season, its still early in the season but i looks as if you regressed, hopefully he can get it togather and come alive.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:48pm #620531
FastAndFuriousParticipantBynum a beast 13 and 13 in 16mins
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:51pm #620535
HaleParticipantBulls have over double Memphis’ points late in the third. D-Rose is +43 when on the court.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:54pm #620537
WizardofOzParticipantGrizzlies getting smacked by Chi-town. Looks like Z-Bo’s injury is really having a big impact.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:55pm #620538
FastAndFuriousParticipantLebron James 33 7 and 7 Heat Undefeated thats my MVP
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:56pm #620536
Scottoant93Participantjust quick question who do you think will be mvp this season just based on these few games?
Grizz are struggling
zebo(injured) 1-5 2 points
Rudy gay is struggling 2-12 5 points
gasol 2-6 8 points
80-36 thats embarrassing
lol sorry i edited this like 3x
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:56pm #620539
HaleParticipantTo answer your MVP question I would say LeBron.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:57pm #620540
FastAndFuriousParticipantLMAO woah wait lmao I just looked at the NBA scores and saw Chicago beating Memphis 82-38 lmao thats some funny ish.
Wat the heck is going on man lol Memphis must have celebrated too hard last night lol
HAPPY NEW YEARS MEMPHIS LOL
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 4:59pm #620541
HaleParticipantJosh Selby hasn’t looked too bad in the little bit I’ve seen of him. Nice assist, got to the basket with ease back to back possessions but didn’t finish. Apparently he had a 9 point 7 assist game 2 days ago as well.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:00pm #620543
Scottoant93ParticipantI was thinking either lebron or durant but i guess lebron would win due to better all around stats
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:10pm #620547
HaleParticipantIt Selby could make a layup at all he would be leading Memphis in points already.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:13pm #620548
IndianaBasketballParticipantGrizzlies should be ashamed…
They might lose by 50.
Kobe 4-22…
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:14pm #620550
HaleParticipantWatson goes down and then the John Lucas show begins…wow haha.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:16pm #620553
BigDParticipantDallas needs it’s returning veterans to get a real kick up the bum, Dirk, Kidd, Terry and Marion need to stop coasting and playing lazy defensively. When Vince Carter looks to be the teams hardest worker you have some problems.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:17pm #620554
WizardofOzParticipantWOW, OJ Mayo is bad.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:20pm #620556
Scottoant93ParticipantBreaking News BRIAN SCALABRINE has entered the game grizz are going to lose by 80 now
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:20pm #620557
HaleParticipantEverytime Scal touches the ball the crowd goes nuts, Bulls fans are the best haha.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:21pm #620558
IndianaBasketballParticipantLmao… Yea, I was just thinking the same thing. That he looked bad.
He did nothing, other than hurt Randolph’s knee today.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:24pm #620560
llperezkobe struggling big time. And its making him want to shoot even more.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:24pm #620561
Scottoant93Participant0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:25pm #620563
IndianaBasketballParticipantIF the Lakers lose, blame it on Kobe. He’s been awful. I haven’t seen him this awful since a game vs Portland the season before last.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:26pm #620565
llpereznormally even when kobe struggles, he still has an overall positive impact on the game with all the other things and the attention he draws. But not tonight. If lakers lose its on his shoulders. Bynum, pau and steve blake have all looked great.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:26pm #620567
omphalosParticipantGood signs from Mozgov, backed down Bynum a couple of times for a bucket or foul. Denver did well to nab him from the Knicks.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:28pm #620568
FastAndFuriousParticipantDallas is dumb, I did not get the offseason moves or downgrade they did.
JJ Barea GONE
Tyson Chandler GONE
Deshawn Stevenson GONE
Caron Butler GONE
In return they get Old Vince Carter,a distraught lol Lamar Odom and crazy ass Delonte West
Mark Cuban couldnt have thought those off season moves was gonna win them a ring.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:29pm #620569
IndianaBasketballParticipantKobe single handedly threw this game away…
Had Pau and Bynum gotten more shots, LA wins this game.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:32pm #620571
llperezThis might be the worst game of kobe’s career. He actually sucked the life out of his teammates down the stretch. They could only play 4 on 6 for so long before it broke their will.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:36pm #620577
IndianaBasketballParticipantWhy isn’t Ebanks playing?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:41pm #620588
BigDParticipantI don’t mind the offseason signings for the Mavs at the moment. Because they are the guys working the hardest on the court!! Delonte West has been outstanding and should be getting a lot more court time, Vince Carter has pulled his finger out and is probably one of the hardest workers on the team, Lamar Odom is working, but struggling.
Ian Mahinmi should be the starting C and getting at least 28-32 minutes a game with how he’s playing at the defensive end of the floor. But it’s the returning players that are bugging me the most:
Nowitzki, Kidd, Marion and Terry are playing so lazy and are obviously coasting, they don’t even look like they want to win. As a Mavs fan i cannot stand the lack of effort, i wouldn’t even mind resting them for a game so the people who are actually working hard and trying to win can get the minutes they deserve.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:45pm #620591
Scottoant93ParticipantWhat do you think about mike brown? Do you think they should have hired Brian Shaw instead?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 5:52pm #620593
akhan786Participant6-28 for 16 points??? Yeezus christ Kobe.
Also another solid game from Ty Lawson, 17 points 10 assists. This kid is turning into a stud and is my pick for most improved player.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/01/2012 - 6:15pm #620601
llperezI think the lakers wanted to move well away from the former coaching staff and bring in a new voice. They grew a little complacent listing to phil and needed a change. I like brown. The team is 3-3, but with bynum back now i think we are legit contenders. I mean kobe had a horrible night and they were still in the game till the very end.
